"Oh dear, Third Sister-in-law, there are no rats here. They've all starved to death long ago."
Han Lenghua came over to call the two of them to dinner, and happened to hear this, and laughed.

The whole family ate together. After the meal, Doctor Xu checked Yan Gang's head wound again and re-bandaged it.
"That was pretty heavy-handed."
Doctor Xu sighed, and Yan Gang's eyes darkened. He took Han Lenghua's hand and said:
"Luckily, I didn't hit you back then."
"Does hitting you not hurt?"
Han Lenghua rolled her eyes at him; it was clear that the two had a good relationship.
The two little girls ate very well; it had been a long time since they had eaten so early.
"Xue girl, I just heard from your mother that you know a lot of people. Could you help me find out where there are any jobs available? Your uncle and I are looking for a place to do some work."
Han Lenghua hadn't forgotten their purpose. She wasn't one to take advantage of others; she had always been honest and straightforward.
"I'm afraid there's no shortage of people right now. Aunt, why don't you stay here for now and help my mother with the cooking? The shop will open in a few days and we'll need more people then, so you can help out here and work with us."
Han Luoxue really liked her honest and kind-hearted aunt.
"This...this isn't appropriate, is it?"
Although they had separated from their family, they didn't want to stay with their third brother.
“There’s nothing wrong with it. Once the shop is really open, I’ll give you a monthly allowance.”
