"I...I can't swim!"
"There's no big river near our village, so we certainly wouldn't!"
The servant was so anxious he was almost crying. He looked anxiously at Chi Ling'er in the latrine, knowing that if he didn't go to save her, the madam would beat him to death when she came out.
"Help...help me!"
In her struggle, Chi Ling'er seemed to realize that the place wasn't very deep, but climbing up was impossible. She tried her best to stand, no longer caring about the stench on her body.
"Yunniang, you did this on purpose, you're deliberately getting revenge on me, aren't you?"
Yunniang frowned as she was questioned. Was this woman out of her mind? At a time like this, instead of thinking about getting out of there quickly, she was still agonizing over who had harmed her.
Besides, she was in the pigsty the whole time, and I wasn't following behind her. The two of them were miles apart. How can you blame this on her?
"Madam, don't worry, I'll save you right away."
The servant knew that none of these people had a kind heart, so he could only grit his teeth, walk to the door, and jump down with a thud.
As he fell into the pool, the contents splashed high into the air.
The villagers outside stared in astonishment; they were surprised that someone had actually gone down to rescue someone.
Everyone looked at Yunniang, and Han Datou sighed, "She should be fine for now."
At this point, Yunniang was too lazy to investigate why the door wasn't locked. She saw the servant standing upright in the pond, struggling to approach Chi Ling'er.
This kind of septic tank is different from a water tank; the liquid inside is more viscous, making it somewhat difficult for a person to walk through.
However, Chi Ling'er is so annoying that she's not even going to pursue the matter anymore, yet that person still comes over and acts all high and mighty.
"Keep an eye on them, and when they get close to the edge of the pool, put a pole in."
Yunniang remained calm, while Han Datou turned to find a pole. The servant who had just jumped down was stunned. He hadn't thought of using a pole to pull her up.
These troublemakers are doing it on purpose; they are truly despicable.
The servant also hated everyone, but he was helpless at the moment and could only endure the disgusting smell and go to the lady's side first.
