Chapter 117 Pampering

As soon as the words left his mouth, Masashi Yukimura seemed to notice the bitterness in his heart, but he suppressed this heavy feeling and continued:

"Over the past few days, Kii and Asami have become more familiar with each other, and his strength goes without saying."

"I think he's more suitable than me."

As if to affirm his words, he even nodded, then looked up and met Tianhai's gaze directly.

A flicker of surprise crossed Tianhai's eyes, but the next second he gave a wry smile.

"That's precisely why we can't involve Kii in this matter, because of the reason you gave us."

Before Yukimura Masashi could ask anything, he looked around, pulled out a notebook from the high stack of homework on the table, and unfolded it in front of Yukimura Masashi.

The latter looked down.

"Is this Kii's homework?"

As Kii Kanade's (former) deskmate, Yukimura Masashi recognized the familiar handwriting at a glance.

The content appears complete, well-organized, and logically sound; it would be an excellent example to showcase.

Tianhai did not answer him, but closed the notebook, revealing the name on the cover.

—A shallow and unfounded opinion.

Even the name is written in Kii Kanade's handwriting.

"..."

"Kii and Asami are very close... but too close, he even does her homework for her."

If it weren't for the fact that Willie usually attends class diligently and has top test scores, Tianhai would have already called them over for a talk.

"And I don't know if it's just my imagination..." Tenkai stroked his chin, "I always feel that Kii seems to have a bit of a thing for Asami..."

He thought for a long time about the right adjective before finally hesitatingly speaking.

"Too much pampering."

Given the chance, he would probably do anything for you, let alone homework.

He had made a point of observation beforehand that, in class, out of the ten times he looked at Kii Kanade, the other girl was looking at her deskmate Asami Miri at least eight times.

During breaks, even though Asami Miri was unwilling to talk to Kii Kanade, or even deliberately ignored her, the once proud young nobleman didn't mind at all, and was even willing to humble himself to coax the boy to be happy.

The way these two get along...

"They... they're probably not dating, right?"

"..."

Looking at the silent Masashi Yukimura, Amami finally realized what was happening and tapped his forehead.

"Why am I telling you this? I forgot you never care about these things."

Just by looking at his appearance, you can tell that Masashi Yukimura has absolutely nothing to do with these kinds of gossip.

"In any case," Tianhai forcefully steered the conversation back on track, "I trust you the most to handle this matter."

“If we send Kii, I’m worried that before Asami even sees the strange creature, Kii will have already taken care of it.”

"What's the difference between that and sending him on a mission alone?"

"However, if you really don't want to, I can find someone else."

"..."

Finally, Masashi Yukimura nodded gently, his voice calm.

"I understand, leave it to me."

-

By the time Vili received Tachibana's message, he had already boarded the Shinkansen to Fukuoka with Yukimura Masashi.

[Gott ist tot: I clearly told Mr. Tenkai that I asked you to help with tutoring...]

[Gott ist tot: Why did it have to be that guy who came?!]

[Gott ist tot: rescue]

A pair of hands covered the phone screen. Following the arm, Ju Huang saw Kii Kanade's smile, and he subconsciously shivered.

"What are you doing?!"

"Ju, we're having extra lessons right now, are you slacking off?"

Kii Kanade took his phone and looked at the chat interface displayed on it. When she saw the other party's ID, her smile deepened.

He was already in a bad mood when he heard that Vili was going on a mission alone with Yukimura. And then, Juhuang barged in.

"Come on, translate this sentence for me."

His finger pointed to the English test paper on the table.

Ju Huang gritted her teeth, then turned her head and saw the person guarding outside the door. It was obvious that her father had sent him to monitor whether she was studying properly.

He took a deep breath and reluctantly looked at the sentence that Kii Kanade was pointing to.

"Well……"

Ju Huang's English wasn't very good, but this sentence was surprisingly simple; he said it word by word:

“I swear, I will stay away from your…boyfriend…” He thought for a moment, “…boyfriend.”

"If I get any closer to him..."

"I will be cursed with misfortune..."

"..."

Juhuang suddenly stopped, picked up the papers on the table, and turned them over and over.

"Is this test paper even legitimate?"

Kii Kanade seemed completely oblivious to what he was saying, and was quite surprised, even resorting to honorifics.

"Tachibana-kun, what are you saying?"

"If you don't take your tutoring seriously, I'll be really troubled... Maybe I should talk to your father about it?"

……threaten.

...a blatant threat.

Juhuang glanced at him sideways, sneered, and quietly crumpled the paper in her hand into a ball.

For some reason, the person outside the door felt something get into their eyes. Taking advantage of the moment he rubbed his eyes, Juhuang threw the crumpled paper out the window.

Kii Kanade watched his actions but did not stop him. Instead, she shook her head seriously.

"I never expected you would resort to supernatural powers just to avoid taking the test."

"But it's okay."

He pulled a bag out of nowhere and threw it on the table with a heavy thud.
