[This is a side story written for April Fool's Day, set in a parallel world, and unrelated to the main story~]
Within this world's setting, everything that has happened so far in this book is a script, and all characters are actors.
Happy April Fool's Day!
"Villie, after you finish your scenes for today, would you like to have dinner with me?"
During a break in the film crew's schedule, a handsome man sneaked in. His long, dark, curly hair was loosely tied behind his head. He knelt down beside the beautiful young man's chair, slightly pulled down his sunglasses, and revealed his deep, obsidian-like eyes.
Although he was wearing a suit, a few buttons on the top of his shirt were undone, and from the boy's angle, his well-defined pectoral muscles were clearly visible, appearing and disappearing in the light and shadow.
"Atheran, haven't your scenes already been filmed?"
Willie looked around but didn't see the director, so he lowered his voice.
"Be careful not to get discovered and kicked out."
As he said this, the corners of his mouth couldn't help but curl up, as if he could already picture that scene.
Aetheran's gaze followed the boy closely. When he saw the boy smile, he couldn't help but smile back and raise his eyebrows.
Don't you miss me?
"After the drama we worked on last time aired, our on-screen couple was at the top of the charts, and the director even wrote a spin-off script just for us."
Willie picked up the milk tea from the table next to him, inserted the straw, and put it in his mouth, speaking in a nonchalant tone.
“I know. Didn’t it finish filming a while ago? There’s absolutely no part of me in that script; I only appear in your conversations!”
He bit the straw with a hint of dissatisfaction.
"After all, you were filming a new movie at the time."
Aetherian's gaze fell on his lips, darkening slightly, but her tone revealed no sign of anything amiss.
“I watched that show a while ago; the setting of Blood Town was very interesting.”
"But I didn't expect your agent to be in it too... He's so busy, how did he find the time?"
"You can ask me yourself."
A cold voice came from behind the young man, who was dressed in black and stood behind Vili. He placed his hand on the back of the boy's chair and looked down at Atheran.
The black mask concealed his expression, but Vili could sense that... he wasn't in a good mood.
After glancing at Atheran, he looked away and down at Vili.
The next second, he suddenly reached out and snatched the milk tea from the boy's hands, looking down at the information posted on it, his eyes flashing.
"This is too sweet. My dentist told me to control your sugar intake."
"Hey—" Vili couldn't dodge in time and watched helplessly as the cup was moved far away. He puffed out his cheeks and said, "At least let me finish it. Kii asked me to do this!"
"You absolutely shouldn't drink anything given to you by a stranger."
"..."
He was supposed to be filming with Kii today!
“If I didn’t know you were Willy’s agent, I would have thought you were his guardian.”
Seeing the interaction between the two, Aetheran suddenly spoke up.
"Your protectiveness towards the actors is a bit too much. I saw online that you don't even let Willy eat out, and you always cook his own lunch in advance..."
"Isn't this a bit too much?"
"—The date for the thank-you gift."
"It has nothing to do with you."
Xie Liqi pressed down slightly on the edge of the chair back.
“I was just thinking of Willie’s best interests. I know that since you started working as an agent, you’ve only been responsible for Willie as an actor.”
"But with your abilities and resources, this is probably the best you can do."
“An actor as talented as Willy has a bright future... We shouldn’t let this hinder his career.”
Aeseran's lips curled up, but there was no smile in his eyes.
While the two were locked in a heated argument, Willy quietly jumped off his chair and slipped out.
He didn't want to watch men fighting during this rare halftime break.
Taking advantage of the director's absence, Willie deftly weaved through the busy staff, grabbing a black baseball cap from the table and putting it on, before making his way to the edge of the set.
As soon as he approached, he heard the commotion of the crowd, as if some fans and reporters were waiting outside. Willie quickly ducked into a corner and patted his chest to let out a long sigh of relief.
They almost got seen.
But what are they arguing about?
With that thought in mind, Willy lowered the brim of his hat and quietly peeked out.
A man was surrounded by a crowd, his blond hair gleaming brightly in the sunlight, but it was disheveled from the jostling, and his lake-green eyes looked somewhat flustered.
"Sorry, I'm just visiting a friend on set, I don't give interviews."
Upon hearing his words, the reporters holding microphones became even more excited, and their camera flashes went off incessantly.
"Friend? Are you here to see Vili?"
"I heard you're pursuing him, is that true?"
"As actors from the same agency, what are your thoughts on Castin's bold declaration of love for Willy at the press conference?"
"Mr. Alexander, please answer our questions—"
...That's terrible.
Seeing the man's helpless expression, Willy shrank back, secretly relieved that he hadn't gone out.
Since becoming an actor, all the men who have acted in romantic scenes with Willy have inexplicably become entangled with him one by one. I don't know if it's because he got too into the role.
As a result, when Willie goes out now, he is always asked these questions by reporters, which gives him a headache.
