Chapter 6 Side Story: The Butcher

hurry up.

Faster.

Heavy breathing echoed in my ears, the scenery on the street was just a fleeting afterimage, and the steps under my feet creaked as if they would suddenly break at any moment, and I would fall into the abyss.

However, the butcher's gray-blue eyes remained fixed on what was ahead.

As he pushed open the door to the observation deck, he kept looking around, his indifferent eyes suddenly filled with panic, but he couldn't find the boy he cherished.

The rain washed away the bloodstains on the rubber apron, fading the bright red color, and dripped down the folds of the clothing, eventually seeping into the ground beneath the butcher's feet.

However, he didn't spare a single thought for the matter, simply standing silently in place, as if his soul had left his body, completely still.

The rain gradually stopped, the dark clouds dispersed and the sun was revealed behind them. The shadows shifted, and the light enveloped him, drying his soaked clothes, but bringing him no warmth whatsoever.

Looking into the distance, a rainbow arches across the sky.

This is a scene that Blood Town has not seen for many years, a scene that only appears in the residents' dreams.

What are you standing there for?

...Was it a dream?

A familiar voice came from behind, as clear and beautiful as ever. It seemed to breathe new life into his cold heart, but the butcher remained frozen, not daring to turn around.

My fingertips touched the broad, firm back muscles. It was just a light touch, but it felt like igniting dry straw, setting my entire body ablaze.

The butcher suddenly turned around and, to the boy's astonishment, almost recklessly pulled him into a tight embrace.

"Hmm—"

Vili was knocked back slightly by his immense force, and was lifted high into the air. His supple waist bent backward, but was held in place by strong iron arms, making it seem as if he was offering his upper body up willingly.

The position was strange and uncomfortable. He reached out haphazardly to try to push away the tall and strong man, but instead the man found an opportunity.

The butcher lowered his head slightly, his kisses, even through the mask, raining down on her delicate collarbone, stretching her already loose neckline even wider, as he continued to move downwards.

Even through the rough burlap, it seemed as if [deleted].

Willy's struggling movements froze for a moment, as if an electric current had passed through his body, and he seemed to lose all his strength. Almost subconsciously, he stretched out his slender arms and wrapped them around the man's neck to prevent himself from falling to the ground.

The butcher held the boy firmly in his arms with just one arm, while his other hand suddenly moved downwards. [Deleted]

"you……"

The sunlight after the rain seemed a bit dazzling. Willy's beautiful eyes were somewhat vacant, and crystal-clear tears welled up involuntarily, falling down his delicate jawline.

The agonizing sensations surged onto the shore like a tide, yet offered only a brief respite. The flow of time seemed to slow down, and finally, he regained a sliver of consciousness. His slightly dangling legs twitched, striking the man, but it was as if a feather had brushed against him, unable to budge him an inch.

“Vili”.

A dry, hoarse voice rang out, sounding somewhat muffled through the mask, but the next sentence made the boy stop all his movements.

"You promised..."

The butcher loosened his grip a little, adjusted the position of the person in his arms, and lowered him slightly. The hand that had been behind Vili's head was now on his lower back, and he wrapped his arms around him, his gray-blue eyes meeting his gaze.

Vili instinctively wrapped her legs around the man, her hands resting on his broad shoulders. The blush on her face had not yet faded, and tear stains remained on her fair, almost translucent cheeks, making her look somewhat bewildered and pitiful.

But the butcher in front of him seemed to be in more pain than he was.

The bloodshot in his eyes was so obvious, and the intense emotions and obsession seemed to overflow, compressing the air into a thin layer.

...What?

The anger in my heart was suddenly dispelled, replaced by a sense of confusion that clung to me like fine threads.

He's just an NPC...

"You promised."

The butcher repeated it again.

"I won't leave without saying goodbye."

"..."

"I……"

Her lips parted slightly, but she didn't know what to say.

Willy stared blankly at the man in front of him, then lowered his eyes after a moment, pouting somewhat unhappily.

Are you accusing me?

Seeing the butcher panic, and knowing that he was in the wrong and had falsely accused the butcher, the boy's heart suddenly calmed down.

Without any hesitation, he relaxed his body, placing all his weight on the man, leaning forward slightly, resting his head on the other's shoulder, his cheek and neck touching, rubbing against him like a kitten.

He deliberately turned his head away, avoiding looking at the butcher.

"I just went too far..."

He pursed his lips, avoiding eye contact with the butcher. After hesitating for a long time, he finally whispered in the man's ear, his warm breath gently blowing over him.

"sorry."

After saying this, his almost perfect male physique seemed to freeze, and even his breathing became incredibly light.

Willie waited for a while, then finally moved impatiently, wanting to see the other person's expression.

One "I'm sorry" was already his limit!

Does this guy expect him to cry and apologize?

Halfway through his thoughts, the butcher's breathing suddenly became heavy, and his burning hot palm pressed down on the boy, but it was too late.

Vili felt something hard protruding against him. Before he could even react, he tried to move his waist to get away, but the restrained position only made him feel even closer.
