The normal way to unfold the plot of Chapter 5

Prince Aiden's reputation has also plummeted in this incident.

He used to seem like a fine young man, with high magical talent and good manners. But after meeting Hill, he seemed to have lost his mind, insisting that he might as well die if he didn't repay the debt of saving his life.

The problem is, there are other ways to repay a debt of gratitude, aren't there?

It's hard not to suspect that he's abusing his power for personal gain. After all, he only has one year left before graduation. If Hill were to enroll now, wouldn't they have more opportunities to spend time together?

If he weren't the only heir to the throne...

Aiden seemed to notice the change in the attitude of the people around him. He tried to protect Hill while opening his mouth to refute, but he couldn't say anything.

Fortunately, the teacher arrived and saved them.

The teacher was there to conduct a magic test for Hill. He brought over a round mirror that was about half a person's height and placed it on a table covered with black velvet.

This mirror is extremely exquisite and smooth, with mysterious runes and gems engraved around its edges. On the other side, there is a measuring gauge, which is used to measure magical power.

Hill was beckoned over by the teacher, and Aiden followed behind him, while the others also shifted their attention.

After the first conversation between the protagonist and the host ended, 888 felt that it could finally start breathing again, but the plot made it feel that it would be easier to just die on the spot.

"Why...why did this happen?!"

"Adrian's first meeting with the protagonist should have been wonderful! How is he supposed to fall in love with the protagonist later if things continue like this?!"

"And the main character, the seme, his gaze should have been fixed on the uke the whole time! Why did he notice you walking in?! He shouldn't have even spoken to you then!"

"The protagonist is the bottom... the protagonist's plot is not right! This is his moment of glory and face-slapping, but look at how others treat him now..." 888 wailed in despair, "Even if his magic level is perfect, it seems there's no way to change the impression!"

"If this continues, the entire plot will be thrown into chaos!"

Vili found it hard to imagine that a familiar could have such rich emotions, but he didn't want to listen, so he manually muted 888.

Only after the other party calmed down did he speak calmly.

"I think your plot is completely unreliable. Does your script even mention that Adrian is that weak?"

Indeed, Adrian is now leaning against Vili again, as if he has no bones.

Don't ask, the answer is just dizziness.

If it weren't for the fact that he had stood up for him before, Willie would never have been able to tolerate this.

"Waaah..."

888 completely crashed.

Noticing his gaze, Adrian blinked innocently, his soft white hair brushing against Vili's neck.

"What's wrong?"

Vili shook his head dismissively.

Adrian, however, curled the corners of his mouth into a smile.

"I know...you like the gemstone on that mirror, don't you?"

Vili was somewhat surprised, not expecting Adrian to be so observant; he had only been watching for a short while when the other party noticed him.

However, it wasn't that he simply liked gemstones; it was just that those gemstones contained very strong magical energy, which made him quite envious.

He doesn't need these things himself, but doesn't he still have 888?

It was impossible for him to do these troublesome tasks, but he would need energy to travel through the world after 888, and in his mind, these gems should be able to play a role.

If 888 knew that its host was thinking so much for it, it might not be able to sleep at night.

However, Willie had no intention of speaking for the time being; he didn't want to deal with a noisy mouse.

"If you want it, I'll give it to you, okay?"

Adrian, dissatisfied that his gaze wasn't on him, spoke again.

“The Pope’s treasury has many such gems… and even bigger, more beautiful, and more magical ones. I’ll give them all to you, okay?”

"...You're not the Pope."

Adrian's eyes lit up with a golden light as soon as he heard Willy's voice.

“But I can use the Pope’s treasury.”

Vili lowered his eyelashes, pondered for a few seconds, and then smiled.

He turned to look at Adrian, his eyes sparkling. They were so close that his breath seemed to hit Adrian's face as he spoke, but the latter didn't want to move an inch.

Vili opened his mouth.

"OK."

After saying that, he extended a long, slender finger and pressed it against Adrian's lips, which had unconsciously moved closer.

It's a deal.

No sooner had he finished speaking than he pointed that finger at the other man's nose without a second thought and pushed Adrian away.

Even though he hadn't used much force, Adrian couldn't help but follow his strength until he staggered back two steps.

"You're too heavy."

Willie smiled at him again, then immediately stopped smiling and turned back to look at the center of the venue.

Adrian stood there stunned for two seconds, then covered his face without a care for his image and laughed silently.

Whether it's the fragrance of her hair that I smell when I get close, the breath that's right next to me, or that soft, white finger.

...He really wanted to eat them all.

-

The plot finally got back on track. After Hill touched the mirror, green magic representing healing power emerged, stretching out like a newborn sprout. This light could not be ignored even in a brightly lit room.

At that moment, he was the center of attention.

Immediately afterwards, the numbers on the meter next to the mirror began to rise steadily, 30, 50, 70... and finally climbed to a height of 90!
