Di Jinghan nodded excitedly: "That's right, my brother sent word that my sister-in-law gave birth to a little nephew. He must be a smart and adorable child!"
Li Yannian smiled knowingly, looking at her radiant smile. So she liked children. He thought it would be wonderful if they could have one too.
"Jinghan, um... I, when we get back I'll ask the Emperor to grant us a marriage!" He blurted out his thoughts nervously, looking expectantly at Di Jinghan.

"Yannian, Anian! Anian! Are you alright? How are you?" She hugged his body, trembling all over, at a loss.
Ning Hui scrambled to her feet and helped Li Yannian up, saying, "Princess, Princess, let's take General Li back first! He's injured!"
"Okay, okay, Ah Nian, hang in there!" Di Jinghan was completely at a loss.
Li Yannian gently touched her face and wiped away her tears: "Don't be afraid, I'm fine. Don't cry..."
A patrol team passed by and, seeing the scene, rushed over to help. The assassin was also apprehended.
