Chapter 257 Author's Closing Remarks
This concludes the article.
This is the first book I've actually finished writing, and I'm very grateful for everyone's support. Thank you for your feedback and for accompanying me along the way.
To be honest, I wrote it on a whim. There weren't many people writing this type of story, and I was in a writing slump, so I wrote one myself.
When I started writing it myself, I realized it wasn't as simple as I thought. But every different insight I gained along the way was worthwhile; each one was a form of growth.
I'm actually a serious procrastinator, and I often have the urge to write. But every time I get inspiration and draft an outline, I'm just too lazy to put pen to paper, and before I know it, nothing comes of it.
Actually, the first time I wrote a novel was back in sixth grade. Back then, I wrote in pretty notebooks, and it was one of those old-fashioned novels with an all-powerful female protagonist who transmigrates. After finishing a chapter, I would share it with my classmates, and they would leave comments in my notebook. Haha, I was quite proud of myself back then. It wasn't until I was organizing my bookshelf recently and found those old notebooks that I found both funny and embarrassing.
Looking back now, I realize my passion for writing novels has been quite enduring, even though I've never truly succeeded. Tomato wasn't the first platform where I started writing, and this isn't my first novel either. But it's the only story I've consistently updated daily until its completion.
To be honest, I was even moved by my own writing. I never imagined that from sixth grade to my sister's sixth grade, I would actually finish a novel! Haha, it wasn't easy. Thank you all again for your comments and support. If it weren't for you all, and if I hadn't known that so many people were reading my writing, I really wouldn't have been able to persevere and finish this.
To be honest and sentimental, it is you who made this story possible, and it is you who made me who I am.
I'm not sure how long I'll keep writing, but as long as I have inspiration, I'll keep going and live up to everyone's expectations.
Many readers previously wanted me to turn this into a quick transmigration novel and continue writing it, but I refused at the time, saying that I would start a new book if I had inspiration.
It was true that I lacked inspiration at the time and couldn't write anything good. I couldn't just give a perfunctory answer and was afraid of letting everyone down. But deep down, I did keep this matter in mind.
I was on a business trip a couple of days ago, and I woke up in the middle of the night with a sudden inspiration for my next quick transmigration novel. Even though it's just one, I was still very excited and wrote it down.
It was then that I suddenly realized that I, like you, really wanted Landis to continue.
So, the next book was planned very quickly, and the cover was already done for me, haha (although it's still not very good-looking, my skills are limited, please forgive me—)
I didn't originally plan to start writing this soon, because I'm still writing another entertainment novel, hahaha. That one was written for my own amusement during a reading slump. I didn't expect that I would still be writing over a hundred chapters before I even got to the debut chapter. I misjudged my writing speed, so I didn't originally plan to update so quickly.
But inspiration is impulsive. When I lack inspiration, I can postpone starting to write, but when I do, even if it's just a small spark of inspiration, I can't wait to start.
It's just running two apps at once! What's the big deal?
I'm feeling incredibly confident right now (hope I won't be proven wrong later) ( ̄ ̄)/
Of course, it's not like I can just start writing anytime. I need to spend a couple of days gathering drafts and organizing my thoughts. So I'll use the "New Book Pre-release" feature to list the new book first, attaching it to the end of this book. If you're interested, you can add it to your bookshelf beforehand, and then you can read it directly once I officially start writing.
The new book title is "The Succubus Stirring Up Trouble in a Small World Across Movies and TV Shows" (As always, I'm terrible at naming things, any good suggestions?)
The first small world inspiration: our succubus Landis comes to "Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace" and becomes the pitiful Hongli during the Yuanmingyuan period. With her original succubus talent and charming personality, her charisma is off the charts. Watch a story where you love me, he loves me, and the whole world loves me—
Feel free to share your thoughts on the later parts of the story!
Alright, this book has come to an end, and it's time to officially say goodbye. Thank you all for your support. Hope we'll meet again in the next book! ┏(^0^)┛
