The group arrived at the entrance of the alley where Shen Peng's house was located. The older women watched as Song Yining led the comrades from the educated youth office who had visited a few days earlier.
Everyone followed to watch the excitement. The older sister from the educated youth office knocked on the Shen family's door. Shen Shiyu listened to the knocking and impatiently went to open the door.

When Shen Shiyu saw someone she didn't recognize following Song Yining, she was furious.
They weren't opening the main gate; they were just standing outside. "What are you doing? There are so many people here. Get out of here right now, or I'll call the police and have you arrested."
As everyone watched Shen Shiyu talking in a rapid-fire manner, the older woman from the educated youth office grew impatient.
“Bring the banner that our educated youth office gave to your family. You are ashamed to accept this banner. We would give it to someone with high ideological awareness. You are not worthy of it.”
"Who cares about that banner? I was thinking it was an eyesore. Wait for me to get it for you." With that, he closed the door.
Upon entering the house, seeing the glaringly red banner, I stepped on it twice, then rolled it up and took it out.
The people in the educated youth office were furious. What kind of people were these? This matter wasn't over yet.
Shen Shiyu opened the door and threw it over, saying, "Here you go, I don't even want this, it's an eyesore."
"You'd better pick it up right away, or you'll be in big trouble. You're not respecting the importance the leader places on you. Looks like we came to the right place today."

Shen Peng hurriedly rode his bicycle home.

Shen Peng knew what Shen Shiyu had done, so he immediately stepped forward and slapped Shen Shiyu twice, then bowed down and apologized to everyone.
After being slapped twice, Shen Shiyu cried angrily and went back to her bedroom.
Han Ping felt uncomfortable seeing this, and he knew that what his daughter had done today might greatly affect Shen Peng's work.
He could only watch anxiously, peering into the room and then at Shen Peng.
"I'm sorry everyone, my daughter hasn't been feeling well lately, and I apologize for what I did today."
I will now strictly educate my children and also face the issue of educated youth going to the countryside in the right way.
Upon hearing Shen Peng's apology, the staff of the educated youth office, realizing that the matter had come to this, took the banner and prepared to leave.
Seeing that this matter was over, Song Yining realized that it was time to resolve her own issues.
