After a few days of cutting pig feed with the little rascals, the day arrived when we could go up the mountain to find wild vegetables.
Wang Chunhua said that everyone went up the mountain together after having breakfast.
This was Lin Xiaoxiao's first time truly experiencing the mountains, and she was filled with curiosity and anticipation.

Lin Xiaoxiao continued walking deeper into the mountains and forests. The further she went, the more different the scenery became, and the greenery grew thicker. All around were towering trees, their trunks so thick that it would take one person to wrap their arms around them.
Suddenly, something shiny in the distance caught her eye. Looking in that direction, she saw a clump of wild grapevines, laden with bunches of glistening purple grapes that looked incredibly tempting.
"There are so many wild grapes!" Lin Xiaoxiao's eyes lit up with excitement. These wild grapes are all-natural, she could try them.
Many grapes had already fallen from the vine, probably pecked off by birds or fallen on their own when ripe, but there were still many plump ones on the vine.
Lin Xiaoxiao could no longer restrain herself. She threw the machete in her hand on the ground, took off her basket and put it aside, and climbed up the grapevine with both hands and feet.
Lin Xiaoxiao picked bunches of grapes from the vine and threw them onto the grass below. The grass was thick, so the grapes wouldn't break when they fell.
