Lin Xiaoxiao lay on the delivery room bed, her eyes wide open, staring at the ceiling. Although she was having surgery to give birth, it was under local anesthesia, and her hearing was still there; in fact, she could hear very clearly.
Although she couldn't see the doctor moving around inside her belly, she could still hear some of the sounds, which made Lin Xiaoxiao's scalp tingle. She kept holding onto Han Qiushi's hand tightly.

Lin Xiaoxiao drank very quickly, feeling that it didn't quench her thirst at all, and tried to sit up to indicate that she would drink it herself.
Han Qiushi didn't give her a chance and insisted on feeding her, so Lin Xiaoxiao had no choice but to give up.
"Just as we arrived at the hospital, my aunt prepared a lot of food at home. She steamed an egg custard, made pork rib soup, fish soup, and also cooked porridge. Which one would you like to eat?"

"The food has been kept warm in the hospital kitchen. I'll go bring it up to you." Han Qiushi stroked Lin Xiaoxiao's hair with concern. "Your parents are with the children. Can you manage on your own?"
Lin Xiaoxiao nodded: "I'm fine at the hospital."
Han Qiushi quickly went out to get the food. Not long after, Bai Hehua, Han's father, and his aunt, two women, each carrying one child, walked in happily.
"Xiaoxiao, you've really worked so hard. Look, you're not carrying twins, you're carrying a boy and a girl." Bai Hehua's voice rose considerably as she spoke.
This attracted many envious glances from those around her, and many elderly people wanted to come over to join in the celebration, but they were all blocked by her aunt and father, who didn't give Lin Xiaoxiao a chance to get close at all.
Lin Xiaoxiao's eyes lit up instantly upon hearing this, and she couldn't help but smile. With this pregnancy, she had both a boy and a girl, so she wasn't going to have any more children, no matter what. Having two children by her side was enough for her.

Lin Xiaoxiao leaned closer for a few more glances, which made Bai Hehua and the others laugh. "The child looks like you in every other way, except for his nose, which is exactly the same as Qiu Shi's."
"The two children will definitely be very beautiful when they grow up."
Bai Hehua looked at Lin Xiaoxiao, glanced at her complexion, and asked with concern, "How are you feeling? Is there anything wrong? If anything seems amiss, I'll go call the doctor."
