Chapter 51 Fool, none of this is your fault

What did Wen Qin do wrong? She didn't want to be Lin Shan's daughter either; she was just dragged into it.

Also, what's wrong with him being with Wen Qin? Is it wrong for her to love me?

Wen Qin is so kind and wonderful. She is already covered in wounds, yet she is still thinking about his situation and his future!

Why can't they see Wenqin's good qualities? Why are they so eager to break them up?

Wen Qin was devoted to him, and compared to her, he only wanted to escape. He was really not a man.

Isn't he just a father with a tainted past? Wen Qin hasn't been in contact with Lin Shan about their lives.

She is completely innocent and has no problems whatsoever.

Just like Wen Qin said, he is so outstanding and capable that as long as he plans and prepares well, he will definitely be able to protect Wen Qin from harm.

Looking at the delicate flower in front of him, Liu Hai felt that meeting Wen Qin was the greatest luck of his life.

After figuring everything out, Liu Hai felt both love and tenderness towards Wen Qin:

"Fool, don't talk about breaking up anymore. You didn't do those things, it wasn't your fault."

"But……"

"There are no 'buts'. I'll take care of everything from now on. Didn't we promise to be together for life?"

"I will handle everything. I will also talk to my family."

"Don't cry, crying too much is bad for your health. Go home and rest. I'm here for you, don't worry about me, okay?" Liu Hai tenderly wiped away Wen Qin's tears.

Looking into Wen Qin's affectionate eyes, he could no longer resist hugging her tightly and kissing her.

Lin Xiaoxiao: "..."

It's really hard to look at these two people.

One dares to speak out, and the other dares to listen.

With Liu Hai's comforting words, Wen Qin's mood finally improved a little.

After talking for a while, Wen Qin went home, looking back every few steps.

Liu Hai's eyes were full of reluctance, but he also knew that now was not the time to be affectionate.

If he wants to be with Wen Qin, he needs to start preparing now.

If their family members consistently disagree with them being together, then they'll have to rely on themselves for many things from then on.

Thinking of this, Liu Hai's expression became more serious.

Instead of going to his workplace, he took a different route.

As the male lead, he is certainly not a complete fool. His family is powerful and influential, and over the years he has been using his family's influence to secretly trade goods and accumulate a considerable fortune.

However, no one knew about these things; the Liu family didn't know, and even Wen Qin didn't know.

However, Wenqin learned some things about Liu Hai through getting to know him and observing him.

Lin Shan's success is largely due to Wen Qin's efforts, but even more so to Liu Hai's.

Much of the information was overheard by Wen Qin and passed on to Lin, enabling Lin Shan to connect with external suppliers.

Lin Xiaoxiao discovered this by chance; one night, Wen Qin secretly went out, and she followed her all the way.

She followed Liu Hai, but instead of going back with Wen Qin, she turned around and followed Liu Hai.

They discovered that he was connected to the black market.

Lin Xiaoxiao continued to hide in the space, following behind Liu Hai.

Soon, Liu Hai took out a bicycle from a very inconspicuous, dilapidated house.

He rode away on his bicycle only after he made sure no one was around.

Lin Xiaoxiao followed the bicycle all the way, and finally stopped in a suburb of Beijing, at a place that looked like a stone factory.

Lin Xiaoxiao noticed two large trucks parked in the yard, with two middle-aged men standing beside them.

Liu Hai pushed his bicycle in, put it down casually, and greeted them.

Judging from their expressions and attitudes, the group seemed to know each other very well.

After greeting everyone, Liu Hai walked towards a large truck in the yard. He opened the truck's cover and saw that it was empty.

"Everything has been moved in."

One of the middle-aged men responded, "Don't worry about us, everything's been moved in."

Upon hearing this, Liu Hai's expression immediately improved.

After inspecting the truck, Liu Hai and the man went into a two-story brick house at the back while talking.

Lin Xiaoxiao followed closely behind. Inside the house, it was unremarkable, but after turning a corner, a very dilapidated wooden door appeared, which seemed to be a place where odds and ends were usually stored.

Upon entering, one finds a lot of work tools scattered around, making the place quite messy, and the ceiling is covered in cobwebs.

Liu Hai glanced back cautiously one last time, then walked to the far corner of the room and squatted down.

With a creaking sound, an underground passage appeared inside.

Lin Xiaoxiao raised an eyebrow. Liu Hai really had some skills; he actually had a clever trick up his sleeve.

Although it's a simple mechanism, it has to be said that Liu Hai is really suited for doing these petty thievery.

Following Liu Hai to the basement, Lin Xiaoxiao casually glanced up and her eyes immediately lit up.

It's all supplies!! All of them!!

Moreover, the area here is many times larger than Lin Shan's old lair.

Standing at the entrance, Lin Xiaoxiao felt that the view stretched as far as the eye could see.

This place is practically the size of a modern-day large supermarket.

Once they got down there, Liu Hai and the other man glanced at the supplies and then stood in the middle chatting.

After following them all the way, Lin Xiaoxiao finally learned about Liu Hai and the others' situation.

It turns out this was their warehouse hideout.

Liu Hai was roughly their leader. He was in charge of contacting supplies from other places, while the other two were in charge of collecting supplies in Beijing, which they would then exchange for money and convert into cash.

Judging from their conversation, Liu Hai had been working with them for a long time.
