Chapter 121 Slapped Down by the Door

Without saying a word, Jiang Wenwan shoved a handful of White Rabbit candies into his hand.

"Stop talking, hurry up and share the candy with your friends!"

Zhou Ye pouted, looking at his friend who had just been so righteous in offering to help him hide the candy, and could only tearfully share it with his friends.

"Is Ono your sister-in-law?"

Your sister-in-law is so nice.

"Yes, yes, Xiaoying's sister-in-law is not good at all. She makes her do a lot of work every day."

Jiang Wenwan watched with a smile as Xiao Ye finished distributing the candy, then took his hand and went back.

On the way back, a little girl, about eight or nine years old, carrying a basin of freshly washed clothes, walked towards them.

Ono turned her head and looked up at Jiang Wenwan.

"Sister-in-law, do you still have any candy?"

"Can I have two?"

Jiang Wenwan nodded and took out two White Rabbit candies from her pocket.

"Will you be obedient from now on?"

"OK!"

After Zhou Ye agreed, he took the White Rabbit candy and ran to the little girl opposite him.

"Sister Xiaoying, here's some candy for you."

Jiang Wenwan and Zhou Yunting exchanged a glance.

"Ono is a very kind-hearted child."

Zhou Yunting raised an eyebrow at Jiang Wenwan's words.

"He may be promising at a young age, but his future is uncertain. Let's wait and see!"

As long as he doesn't develop the same personality as his mother, it's fine.

Jiang Wenwan imagined the scene of the lively and energetic Zhou Ye growing up to be a crybaby, which was rather frightening.

He shook his head.

"No, children have the ability to discern. If he finds that kind of personality annoying, he won't develop that kind of personality when he grows up."

"I hope so."

Across from them, the little girl named Yingzi took the candy and carried the basin into a courtyard.

Zhou Ye ran back and looked up at Jiang Wenwan with his little face.

"Sister-in-law, please let me stay here for a few days. My mom keeps crying while holding me, and I'm really annoyed!"

Jiang Wenwan reached out and flicked his forehead.

"You still know that? Hurry up and go back."

Your mom will definitely cry if she can't find you right now. Do you really want her to be sad and upset?

Xiao Zhouye had a troubled expression on his chubby face.

"I'm reluctant to let you go, but okay, once I convince my mom, can I come and stay for a few days?"

You never treated me like this when we used to travel by train. You've changed since my older brother came into the picture. Don't you like me anymore?

Jiang Wenwan remained silent.

"Little guy, don't try to be cute with me, it won't work. Unless you get your mom's permission, I'll send you back the same day you come."

"Okay, I'll try!"

Seeing his troubled expression like a little adult, Jiang Wenwan smiled and looked at Zhou Yunting.

Zhou Yunting nodded and stepped forward, taking Zhou Ye's hand and leading him out, sending him back home.

After Jiang Wenwan returned home, she tidied up the house. She didn't rush to get along with the military wives in the family compound.

First, take out some stationery and write a letter to Zhu Xiaomin. She has finally settled down, and from now on, Zhu Xiaomin can send her letters here.

She first recounted her miraculous journey to find her husband, then talked about Hu Qinghua's story, and finally lamented that she didn't know if she could find Hu Qinghua's mother.

If your Hu Qinghua is the female lead, with the female lead's halo, then the real halo belongs to her mother.

He Chunyan is a woman who can definitely be described as ruthless, courageous and resourceful.

She could be so cruel to her own twin sister, and she still managed to marry her current political commissar husband while holding leverage over her ex-husband.

If Jiang Wenwan hadn't arrived and completely thwarted their plans, and if Zhou Yunting hadn't also met Jiang Wenwan, their plans might very well have succeeded.

Another case of substitution.

Finally, they left their addresses so the two could keep in touch by mail from time to time.

If they had a phone or WeChat, they could chat casually, but their current circumstances don't allow them to use such a luxurious method as a phone or telegram for idle conversation.

After finishing writing the letter, Zhou Yunting returned from outside.

I saw her writing a letter, so I walked closer and glanced at it.

Jiang Wenwan held up the letter and asked him about it.

"These are all things that can be said, right?"

I can't say I'll rewrite it.

Zhou Yunting took it, glanced at it, and smiled.

"It's fine, as long as it doesn't involve military matters."

"Alright, I'll mail this letter whenever I go to the county."

"No need, just give it to me. I'll have Zhang Shun mail it out during training tomorrow."

Let's eat early; we have important business to attend to tonight.

Jiang Wenwan was curious.

"What important matter is it?"

Zhou Yunting held her close and whispered in her ear, his hot breath making Jiang Wenwan's ears tingle.

It seems she needs some medication to temporarily reduce her fertility; she's only an adult and doesn't want to have children so early.

"Go away, you have training tomorrow. Aren't you afraid your legs will give way and people will laugh at you?"

Zhou Yunting's eyes darkened.

"Legs are weak?"

Then he simply picked her up and carried her to the bed.

"Give it a try,"

Jiang Wenwan was suddenly picked up and exclaimed in surprise, wrapping her arms around his neck.

A man who has suddenly tasted the sweetness of meat is truly terrifying.

"Let me go! It's not even dark yet!"

Zhou Yunting raised an eyebrow and placed her on the bed.

"Yes, wait for me, I'll go close the door."

The two closed the door early in the morning and fooled around until midnight.

The next morning, Zhou Yunting woke up, cuddled with his wife for a while, and was still full of energy.

Prepare breakfast for Jiang Wenwan, then go to the troupe to report for duty.

Jiang Wenwan believes she has good physical strength, so why does she have back and leg pain?
