Hearing her say that, Zhou Yunting smiled and looked at her, assuring her.
"Don't worry, we'll train tomorrow and rest the day after. Then I'll take some men directly to Guangzhou to cooperate with the people there. We'll stop them no matter what."
Jiang Wenwan nodded, looking at her man with adoration, trying to win him over.
"I knew my man was the best!"
What's so great about it?
"It's great everywhere!"
The two looked at each other and laughed, saying childish things.
The couple talked late into the night, and after three rounds of this, Jiang Wenwan didn't want to praise him anymore.
The next day, while everyone else was full of energy and going to exercise, Jiang Wenwan was going to Shen Meiling's place for lunch.
Although her daughter-in-law wasn't a blood relative, she couldn't really go right at mealtimes.
As soon as she led her horse out, Little Black ran out wanting to follow.
Song Dandan came out carrying a basket and, seeing her leading the horse, asked curiously:
Are you going to a pharmaceutical factory?
"No, my mother-in-law's mother is coming over and asked me to come over for dinner today."
Song Dandan understood.
"Then go ahead, and I'll release your goose for you while I'm at it. I'm planning to catch some small fish by the river, chop them up, and feed them."
It's perfect to bring your dogs along.
Anyway, you'll be back quite late this afternoon, right?
"I'll just keep watch over my two geese, or let them roam freely with my flock, so I might as well include yours!"
Jiang Wenwan agreed.
Leading the horse, we went to the yard, where a goose pen had been built on one side, and the goslings were playing inside.
"Only five? That seems like so few."
"Don't even mention it. I took two back for my brother-in-law, otherwise the little guy wouldn't want to leave."
I'm thinking about when to hatch some more.
Song Dandan thought so too.
"Let's go to the county together and see if they sell goose eggs."
"Okay! I'll be going now!"
After Xiao Hei got a muzzle, Jiang Wenwan felt much more at ease taking it out.
At first, her horse would be frightened, but now it has gotten used to Xiao Hei running alongside it.
Wolves can reach a top speed of 65 kilometers per hour, while the fastest horse can only run at 55 kilometers per hour.
So Xiao Hei felt no pressure at all being by her side.
"Giddy up! Giddy up!"
"Woof! Woof!"
Jiang Wenwan rode her horse alongside Xiao Hei.
She wasn't sure if it was just her imagination, but she always felt like her horse was being chased by Xiao Hei.
Fortunately, she is a good horsewoman, otherwise she would have been thrown to the ground.
A woman rode towards them on horseback. Jiang Wenwan recognized her as Wang Jinfeng.
Both were on horseback, and they passed each other quickly after a brief encounter—nothing much to say about that.
The other horse probably sensed that Xiao Hei was unusual, and as it passed by them, it reared up and neighed.
Wang Jinfeng quickly grabbed the reins, thus preventing herself from falling off the horse.
He reined in his horse and looked in the direction Jiang Wenwan had left.
More than a month has passed, and she still hasn't found any fault with Zhou Ying's wife.
All she wanted was to help her father get promoted to battalion commander, so why was it so difficult?
Unable to find fault with Zhou Ying, she tried to find fault with Zhou Ying's wife, but so far she still hasn't caught anything wrong with her.
Seeing Jiang Wenwan heading towards the division headquarters, she reined in her horse, turned it around, and also headed back towards the division headquarters.
Jiang Wenwan ran all the way to Shen Meiling's place with Xiao Hei, and the timing should be just right.
After tying up the horse, she went to the family compound, where Shen Meiling and Xiao Ye stood at the gate, eagerly looking around.
This is certainly not the kind of reception she'll receive.
"Mom, Ono, what's wrong?"
When Zhou Ye saw her coming, he rushed over, hugged Xiao Hei, and started rolling around in her arms.
Seeing that Xiao Hei's mouth was covered, Shen Meiling felt relieved and let her son play with it, but her eyes were still looking outside.
“Your maternal grandmother hasn’t arrived yet, and we don’t know when she will.”
Uh, the person hasn't arrived yet?
He walked over and ruffled Xiao Hei's hair, then looked at Shen Meiling and said:
"Have you already sent someone to pick them up?"
"Yes! They should have arrived by now. Look, here they are."
She excitedly and happily went to greet them as she spoke.
Jiang Wenwan looked over and saw a middle-aged woman dressed in dark purple gracefully walking towards her.
Beside her was a young woman wearing green khaki, with wavy hair and small leather shoes.
The young woman also looked over, her gaze lingering on Jiang Wenwan for a moment.
Jiang Wenwan's attire wasn't bad either; she wore a green military uniform without patches. It wasn't a formal military uniform, but rather a similar style that was currently in fashion.
It makes one look very capable and dashing.
Shen Meiling saw an old man and a young girl being escorted by Zhou's father's orderly and quickly went to greet them.
"Mom, you've finally arrived! I've been waiting all morning."
The old lady forced a smile at Shen Meiling.
"You don't know, this place is so remote! It takes a long time to get here by car!"
"I know, I know. I just sent someone to pick you up. This must be my niece, Yiyun. She's grown so much in just four or five years."
As Shen Meiling spoke, she pulled her son Zhou Ye over and said:
"Zhou Ye, quickly call her Grandmother, this is your sister Yiyun!"
Shen Yiyun smiled shyly.
"Aunt, hello to my younger brother Zhou Ye."
The little girl looked at Jiang Wenwan as she spoke.
Who is this?
Shen Meiling quickly turned around and introduced Jiang Wenwan, who had walked over, to them as well.
"This is Dunzi's wife, her surname is Jiang. You can just call her sister-in-law."
Then he said to Jiang Wenwan:
"This is Yiyun, and this is my mother. You can just call her Grandma."
