Chapter 232 Twisting and Crawling

Jiang Wenwan was startled, her body tensed instantly, and she reached out to grab the man's wrist on his vital point.

"hiss!"

The man cried out in pain as Jiang Wenwan twisted his arm with overwhelming force.

"you,"

Before he could finish speaking, a sharp pain shot through the back of his head, and he fainted.

The other party didn't take Jiang Wenwan seriously because she was a woman.

Unexpectedly, Jiang Wenwan easily turned the tables on him.

After knocking the man unconscious, Jiang Wenwan took out a rope from her spatial storage and tied him up.

Then he took off his shoes and stuffed his socks into his mouth.

They tied him up again with a rope and threw him aside.

I originally wanted to put it into my spatial storage, but then I realized I couldn't store people in the space, so I gave up on that idea.

The man was guarding this side of the alley. After Jiang Wenwan knocked him unconscious, she headed into that alley.

She walked slowly, listening to the sounds coming from every house in the alley.

This is the back door of those people's homes, so there aren't many people here.

As I walked past a courtyard, I heard arguing coming from inside.

"I don't care about the inside, I don't want this kid anyway."

We have to manage it, whether we want to or not!

Otherwise, I'll make a scene at your workplace and see if you have any face left to hide!

It was a sharp female voice, and the accent sounded like it came from Guangzhou.

Jiang Wenwan tiptoed, listening to the noise inside.

The man's voice sounded familiar; it seemed she hadn't mistaken him for someone else.

"Didn't we agree that the child would stay with you temporarily?"

How did you manage to bring him here so quickly?

The woman's voice was impatient.

"My wife said she would get married as soon as possible and bring this boy over to raise him herself."

So what happened? It's been so long now, and they still haven't gotten married.

"I've waited two years already, don't I have to get married?"

The man's voice was soothing.

"It'll be soon, I'm getting married right away. I've already found a partner, and after the wedding, I'll bring the kids over."

Did you have to rush to send it here?

“He says that every time, and he said it last time too.”

Later they said they were dating, then they said they broke up. I don't care. They can raise their own kids.

I'm leaving tomorrow, so I'll just leave this kid here.

"Can't we wait two more days?"

"Just two days. I'll really go get the marriage certificate tomorrow, and then I'll bring the child over the day after. Is that alright?"

Jiang Wenwan's expression was complicated; she thought something serious had happened, but it turned out to be just a trivial family matter.

"Then I'll trust you one last time. I'll definitely be leaving after these two days."

The voices in the courtyard grew softer and softer.

Since it wasn't what she expected, she had no interest in listening to other people's private matters.

Just as I turned to leave, the back door opened.

The familiar figure she had seen before walked out and happened to see her.

"Comrade Jiang, what are you doing here?"

Jiang Wenwan looked at Doctor Qian in surprise.

"Dr. Qian, shouldn't I be asking you that question?"

I just came to the state-run restaurant to eat, and then I saw someone who looked a lot like you.

I just followed along to take a look, but I never expected things to be different from what I thought!

As Dr. Qian realized she might have overheard something, the corner of his mouth twitched involuntarily.

He looked at her with a strange expression.

"Comrade Jiang, did you hear everything?"

Jiang Wenwan nodded, not afraid that he would silence her, since she had her own backing.

"I did hear everything, Dr. Qian. I think marriage is very sacred, and it's best for two people to be honest with each other."

Hearing her say that, Dr. Qian nodded solemnly.

"Okay, I will honestly explain this matter to Comrade Zhang Yingchun."

Jiang Wenwan thought of the man at the alley entrance.

"By the way, when I came over just now, there was someone at the entrance of that alley. Do you know him?"

Doctor Qian paused, then his expression turned strange as he realized something.

I think so.

Jiang Wenwan nodded.

"Then come with me and take a look!"

If you know her, I'll let her go. If you don't, I'll take her to the police station.

When they arrived at the alley entrance, the man was still lying on the ground, and the stench of his socks almost made him faint.

Du Ziteng felt it would be better to be knocked unconscious by the fumes, at least then he wouldn't have to endure all this.

When Jiang Wenwan and Dr. Qian arrived, they saw him writhing and crawling on the ground, twisting and turning.

Then he looked up and saw Dr. Qian.

"Mmm, mmm, mmm,"

Doctor Qian looked at the person whose hands and feet were tied and whose mouth was gagged, speechless.

He turned to look at Jiang Wenwan.

"I really know Sister Jiang. Can you let him go?"

I couldn't help but marvel at how amazing this Sister Jiang was.

Hearing that it was someone he knew, Jiang Wenwan nodded.

"Then let him go, and give me back the rope."

Seeing that she nodded in agreement, Dr. Qian quickly untied the ropes binding Du Ziteng's hands and feet.

Once Du Ziteng's hands were freed, he immediately untied the rope around the back of his head and took his smelly sock out of his mouth.

"Ugh~ Ptooey ptooey."

I said my surname is Qian, so can't you untie this first?

Are you deliberately trying to make me stink to death?

Doctor Qian watched speechlessly as he put his socks back on.

"What's so bad about your own socks?"

Du Ziteng rolled his eyes and pointed at Jiang Wenwan.

Who is this girl?

Could it be your new girlfriend?

With such good skills and perfect eyesight, why did you fall for her?
