There were three people in Ma Debi's house: Wang Jianguo, Zhou Yunting, and himself.
Wu Weiguo never returned from the day he left until today, half a month later, when they went to the fields to plant rice seedlings.
Wu Weiguo also returned excitedly, and his face clearly showed his joy.
"Jiang Zhiqing has eaten bad food!"
Jiang Wenwan looked at him and smiled in response.
"No, I'll be serving dinner soon. You look so happy, is something good happening?"
Wu Weiguo grinned.

His radiant joy was infectious.
They all asked with smiles:
"What good news has happened to make you so happy?"
"Yeah, you were gone for half a month, and now you're back and there's good news?"
"Look how happy you are, are you about to get married?"
Wu Weiguo shook his head and laughed.
"No, no, I just received news from home that I need to return to the city in a few days."
"Ah! That's great news!"
Everyone in the educated youth settlement felt envious.
"You've only been here a short time, and you're already going back to the city? Maybe a month or two?"

"You're way too fast!"
The group chattered amongst themselves, saying they had never seen educated youth sent to the countryside return to the city so quickly.

“Wu Zhiqing, tell me quickly, what kind of connections did your family use to get you back so quickly?”
"You're moving way too fast!"
Wu Weiguo was speechless. He wasn't really an educated youth sent to the countryside, so returning to his unit was a normal thing.
Jiang Wenwan and Zhou Yunting exchanged a silent glance before turning their heads away.
Zhou Yunting lowered his eyes and went back into the house.
