Su Tang's movements froze in mid-air.
She slowly raised her head and looked towards the mountaintop.
There, Bai Wei's figure still stood atop the mountain. Although she was covered in bruises and her face was swollen and purple, she had ultimately survived to the end.
Su Tang's eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of regret flashing in them.
In the end, she escaped unscathed.
So be it.
She looked away and ignored it.
The sounding of the whistle meant that the "fallen" soldiers could resume their duties.
Sun Erniu, who was lying on the ground, and Lin Hao, who had just been eliminated, both got up from the ground with blank expressions.
They were still reeling from the sudden and unexpected turn of events.
Lin Hao, in particular, was completely stunned and incredulous. He had lost, lost inexplicably, lost utterly, and he couldn't even figure out how he had lost. The way he looked at Su An was as if he were looking at a monster.
Su Tang walked up to Sun Erniu and bent down.
Sun Erniu instinctively hugged the flag in her arms tighter and looked at her warily.
Su Tang didn't say anything, but simply reached out and took the large handful of flags from Sun Erniu's arms, along with the most conspicuous red flag, without any hesitation.
"Give it back to me!" Sun Erniu shouted anxiously, reaching out to snatch it.
Su Tang took the flag and even "kindly" helped Sun Erniu brush the dust off her training uniform.
"Don't sit on the ground, there's too much dirt."
She said something softly, and then, quite naturally, she also took the remaining yellow flag from the other person's backpack.
Those fluid and graceful movements made all of Sun Erniu's resistance seem so pale and powerless.
After doing all this, she turned around and walked towards Lin Hao, who was still in a daze, and just as decisively searched his bag and found a yellow flag and three green flags.
Su Tang took the large, heavy bundle of flags and began to count them in front of the two of them.
Su An counted them.
What I gained from Lin Hao and Sun Erniu in total was:
"Red flag, one flag, fifty points."
"Yellow flags, three flags, sixty points."
"Seven green flags, seventy points."
With each word she spoke, Sun Erniu and Lin Hao's faces grew paler.
"The total score is 180."
After counting, Su Tang weighed the hundred points her team had previously earned. The two bundles of flags were put together and stacked into a thick pile.
"Adding our own 100 points, the total is... 280 points!"
Two hundred and eighty points!
When Su Tang clearly uttered this number, Sun Erniu and Lin Hao, upon seeing the large bundle of heavy flags in Su Tang's hand—enough to drive anyone mad—instantly changed their expressions from stunned to utterly shocked.
Sun Erniu, in particular, recalled the scene where Zhao Yan risked her life and pounced on Bai Wei like a mad tiger in order to let her escape with the flag.
Sister Yan paid the price of being eliminated to give her an opportunity...
Her sacrifice... her resolute decision...
In the end, it all became someone else's wedding dress.
Sun Erniu's eyes instantly reddened, a surge of immense grievance and resentment welled up in her heart, and tears once again fell uncontrollably.
Su Tang weighed the heavy flag in her hand and nodded in satisfaction.
She turned around, looked at the two people with different expressions, and finally a faint smile appeared on her lips.
That smile, bathed in the afterglow of the setting sun, appeared exceptionally radiant, yet also exceptionally dazzling.
She gently waved the bright red flag in front of Lin Hao and Sun Erniu.
"I'll accept your first place."

A note from the author:
Take it! We must take it! With a score of 280, what kind of bloodshed will ensue when we return to the rendezvous point? Bai Wei's expression when she sees the red flag in Su An's hand must be priceless!
