But Lao Hei quickly regained his composure. This was his territory, why would he be afraid of two beggars from out of town?

Just as Su Tang was about to continue digging and was too lazy to waste any more words with them, Old Hei and the tall, thin man exchanged a glance and immediately surrounded her.
The tall, thin man slammed the iron rod in his hand heavily onto the frozen ground beside him with a loud clang.
Old Hei grinned maliciously, his eyes filled with blatant threat.
"Hey, I told you to get lost, can't you understand human language?"
He took a step forward, lowered his voice, and his domineering nature was on full display.
"Want to save someone?"
"sure!"
He grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth, his gaze greedily sweeping over the two men's tattered but still reasonably well-made cotton-padded coats before finally settling on the bulging military backpack Qin Ye was carrying.
"Look at all the stuff in your bags. Take out the food and valuables to offer to your brothers. If they're happy, they might let you take these two little brats away."
This is no longer extortion; it's outright robbery.
Faced with Lao Hei's extortion, Qin Ye's eyes turned cold, and a chilling murderous aura emanated from his body.
What he hates most are these beasts who take advantage of others' misfortunes and bully the weak.

Qin Ye released his hand expressionlessly.
Old Hei staggered back two steps, clutching his wrist, and looked at Qin Ye in horror.
