Chapter 19 Encountering enemy agents (2/2)

Luckily, a doctor who was on a business trip came over the loudspeaker. Upon seeing the man's gunshot wound, he immediately began treatment.

The only man who knew the enemy's information was being treated, and Ruan Yunxi was just a messenger; she had no idea what the enemy's intelligence was like.

Important documents are missing; the person is definitely still on the ship.

The ship's police reported the information to their superiors, who then issued an order that the ship could not dock until the enemy agent was captured and that it must remain adrift at sea.

The people on the ship discovered that they had not yet docked by the scheduled time, and many people inquired about the situation.

The staff reassured everyone that the boat had experienced a minor malfunction and needed to be stopped for repairs, which calmed everyone down.

Immediately afterwards, ship staff began checking letters of introduction, household registration books, and randomly inspecting the luggage of people they deemed suspicious.

The pregnant woman watched their actions without saying a word, then went back carrying her large belly, seemingly afraid that the crowd would bump into her stomach.

While waiting for news in first class, Ruan Yunxi remembered what the ship's police had said: the enemy agents used a silenced gun and even opened it through a pillow, a double silencer, so no one heard the gunshot. She knew the enemy agents had come prepared.

Thinking of the four people killed by the gun, Ruan Yunxi narrowed her eyes.

The enemy agents were too ruthless; they even killed Chinese citizens.

It's a pity she didn't know who the enemy agent was. If she had known, she would have pointed it out to prevent her from harming others.

Damn enemy agents!

Ruan Yunxi was so angry that she pounded her leg, accidentally hitting the small dining table in first class. She gasped in pain, but a person came to mind.

It's her!

I met her three times. Why would a pregnant woman have a telescope?

Also, why does she smell of gunpowder?

She... is an enemy agent!

Realizing this, Ruan Yunxi almost covered her mouth to avoid screaming.

Just then, there was a knock on Ruan Yunxi's door: "Hello, comrade, are you in?"

Ruan Yunxi's alarm bells rang loudly. Upon hearing her voice, her scalp tingled and her feet went cold. She... she had her eye on her!

Ruan Yunxi didn't speak. The other person knocked for a while longer: "Hello, ma'am, my stomach hurts a lot. Could you please call a doctor for me?"

Ruan Yunxi knew that the stomachache was a lie.

That belly of hers must be fake.

Since the other party had targeted her, Ruan Yunxi knew that the other party was an enemy agent. She knew that she couldn't escape, and hiding in the cabin was useless.

Ruan Yunxi composed herself and, acting as if nothing was wrong, immediately opened the door: "Are you about to give birth? I'll take you to see a doctor."

The person in front of her didn't expect Ruan Yunxi to take the bait so quickly. She pretended to be in pain and nodded while holding her stomach: "Okay, you can take me there. Thank you, comrade, you're a good person!"

Ruan Yunxi smiled modestly: "It's only right for everyone to help each other when we're traveling."

As she spoke, Ruan Yunxi led the way. They happened to pass by the first-class cabin next door, where the bloodstains had been cleaned up. The pregnant woman deliberately asked, "What happened here? It looks like there was a fight going on."

Ruan Yunxi turned her back to her and pouted, "I doubt anyone knows what happened better than you."

Damn enemy agent, still pretending now, you'll soon learn what happens when you're an enemy agent!

Ruan Yunxi knew she was being tested, and she said warily, "Shh, I'm telling you something, but don't tell anyone. There's been a murder. There are enemy agents on the ship. They did it. Don't run around, or you'll be targeted by them."
