“The three of you were born together in Mom’s belly and grew up together. If it’s time for school, the older brothers should go first. Do you think it’s okay for you to stay at home?”
Little Gummy felt bad, so when she saw herself being left behind, she panicked and said, "I'm going too!"
Gu Weizhou followed, carrying the little gummy bear: "Go, go, Dad will take you to school."
The little girl, feeling wronged, buried her head pitifully on his shoulder: "Daddy, will you come pick me up from school?"
"Yes!" I don't have time at other times, but I must make time to pick my daughter up from school today.
Little Gummy felt a little better: "Daddy, you have to come!"
Gu Weizhou nodded reassuringly: "Dad will definitely come to pick you up from school and bring you something delicious."
Little Softie thinks that going to school isn't so scary.
And so, the triplets were sent to the nursery, where all the children from the residential compound were located—children in the senior, junior, and middle classes.
Little Gummy Bears are still young; they're in the junior class.
Upon seeing the three adorable children who arrived and confirming the number of children, the teacher led them inside.
Little Gummy pouts, tears welling in her eyes: "Daddy, Mommy, Grandma, you must come and pick us up!"
Ruan Yunxi nodded with a smile and encouraged, "Ruan Tang is the best girl. Mom will pick you up this afternoon. Have fun playing with your brothers and don't bully the other children, okay?"
The little gummy nodded.
The older brother held his younger sister's hand, while the younger brother comforted her, saying, "Don't cry, little sister, your brother will protect you!"
And so, Little Softie was led to the daycare by her two older brothers, one on each side, while turning back every few steps to look at her parents, nanny, and Sister-in-law Sheng who had come to join in the fun.
With them by her side, Little Softie felt at ease.
After the children were taken away, Ruan Yunxi smiled encouragingly, waved, and watched them disappear from sight. She immediately breathed a sigh of relief and urged, "Hurry up, hurry up. Don't let them regret it and find us. We finally got them to the daycare center. We can't let them take them away again."
Gu Weizhou and the nanny watched Ruan Yunxi slip away nimbly, hesitated for a moment, and then followed her.
Sister-in-law Sheng quickly followed.
Less than three seconds after they disappeared, Little Softie came running out crying, "Mommy, Daddy, Waaah, take me home! I want to go home! I don't want to go to school!!!"
Gu Weizhou turned around as if he heard Little Soft Candy crying.
Ruan Yunxi pulled him away, saying as they walked, "This day will come eventually, just get through it."
Sister Sheng nodded: "Little Cherry was like that the first time she went to daycare, crying and fussing, just didn't want to go to school. It broke my heart, but in the end I hardened my heart and left her there. Now she's in elementary school, doing great. She learns a lot every day and makes good friends."
“It’s not good for the children to always stay with their parents; they need to learn to adapt and get along with others,” Sister-in-law Sheng advised.
Gu Weizhou then hardened his heart and refused to look for the person again.
However, they didn't go far. They hid where Xiaoruantang couldn't see them and watched the teacher comfort the distraught Xiaoruantang. The two older brothers cried as they coaxed their sister back home. The sight of them wiping away tears made Ruan Yunxi want to cry too.
The old woman was already crying: "This child is crying so pitifully. We'll make her something nice to eat tonight to comfort her and give her some nourishment."
Ruan Yunxi had no objection.
Gu Weizhou thought he would make fried rice with eggs for the children, since they love it.
Little Softie, who was coaxed back to the daycare again, knew she couldn't go back and had no choice but to stay at the daycare. At first, she was very unhappy, but as the teachers led them in games and other children played with her, Little Softie gradually forgot about her parents and grandparents and had a lot of fun playing with the other children.
When it was time to eat, I looked at the unappetizing food and just ate a couple of bites.
During my afternoon nap, my youngest and second youngest siblings secretly wiped away tears.
The little boy mimicked his mother, patting his younger siblings on the back and saying, "Go to sleep, when we're asleep we can go home from school and see our parents and grandma!"
The second child said, "School isn't fun, we're not coming tomorrow."
Little Gummy agreed: "I'm not coming either."
