Chapter 242 Who sent you? Was it that wretched woman, Eileen Chang?

She always seems to see through things, things that even he himself might not understand, but Su Li can accurately determine certain things.

"Okay, then it's settled. Wait for me after school tomorrow, and we'll go home together."

"OK."

After confirming the good thing, the two said goodbye, and Su Li rode away on her bicycle. Little did she know that Xie Feng had been following her from a distance.

Since the house next to the school wasn't ready yet, Su Li planned to stay at Chen Shujing's place for the time being.

To get to her, you have to go through a small alley. Su Li had just ridden past it when Xie Feng rode into that alley.

Before he could ride past, a man appeared in front of him, holding a long stick, and struck his bicycle with it.

Xie Feng fell off his bicycle, and suddenly five or six burly men appeared around him, each holding a stick.

They swarmed and attacked Xie Feng.

Xie Feng covered his head with his hands, curled up on the ground, completely powerless to fight back.

"Who sent you? Was it that vile woman, Eileen Chang?"

After he finished speaking, those people didn't answer, but instead pounded on him even more violently.

Xie Feng felt as if all the bones in his body were about to be broken by these people, and he trembled all over in pain.

But he remained completely silent.

The man who had initially held the stick said to the person next to him, "This bastard has some backbone."

"Who can argue with that? We've been fighting for so long, and he hasn't begged for mercy once. He hasn't uttered a single word."

As they left, they didn't forget to curse him: "A bastard who has no one to care for him and dares to challenge people. This time it's just interest we brothers collected. If you dare to do it again next time, don't blame us for crippling your hands and feet."

They are professional thugs, so of course they know where to hit someone to hurt the most. Although they beat people hard, the employer specifically asked them not to cripple them, but to teach them a lesson.

After they left, Xie Feng wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, a bloodthirsty smile on his lips.

He calmly pushed his bike and went to the nearby hospital by himself; he had two minor fractures.

The doctor bandaged him up and told him what to do in the next few days.

Xie Feng was discharged from the hospital and went straight home.

Xie Changhe wouldn't be back for lunch, and Zhang Ailing was off having some fun somewhere.

Apart from the nanny, no one else was home.

Xie Feng found a hammer and chopped it down on the door to Zhang Ailing and Xie Changhe's room.

Once inside, he ignored his injuries and started chopping at anything he saw with an axe.

By the time the nanny heard the commotion, the room had already been chopped into pieces.

Xie Feng didn't stop, picked up his mother's orchid box and went out the door.

Before leaving the yard, he didn't forget to threaten the nanny, saying, "I advise you not to go and find them before they return, or you'll lose your job as a nanny."

The nanny was terrified by the young master's gaze and originally wanted to quickly inform Xie Changhe and Zhang Ailing.

At this point, she dared not go.

Xie Feng carried the things all the way to Chen Shujing's door.

He went up and knocked on the door, which opened quickly.

Seeing Xie Feng's face covered in injuries and noticing the suitcase he was carrying, Chen Shujing asked with some confusion, "Who are you looking for?"

Chen Shujing had met Xie Feng when she was in Lijiatun.

She also knew that Su Li disliked this person very much and had complained about him to her several times.

So even though he was covered in injuries, she didn't feel much sympathy for him.

Xie Feng placed the box in front of Chen Shujing and said, "Please give these things to Su Li for me."

Chen Shujing frowned. "She just finished eating and went to school. Why don't you wait until she comes back before you come over?"

Xie Feng didn't respond to her. He put the things down, turned around, and left.

"Hey, don't go! Take your things with you..."

Before she could finish speaking, Xie Feng, covered in injuries, disappeared from her sight.

Chen Shujing sighed helplessly, took the things to the yard, and thought she would talk to Su Li about it when she returned.

Xie Feng walked a long way before he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that Chen Shujing hadn't chased after him.

He pushed his cart to a state-run restaurant, bought two steamed buns, and then went directly to the vicinity of Zhang Dazhi's school.

Xie Feng waited patiently on his usual route home, and he even found a stick nearby. He waited for several hours without any hurry.

After school, Zhang Dazhi came out of the school gate and said goodbye to a few of his close friends.

He headed home, and on the way he saw a pretty female classmate ahead, so he didn't forget to go up and chat her up.

"Hey classmate, do you want me to take you home? I heard that thugs often go down that road ahead."

The female classmate thought Zhang Dazhi looked rather improper, with lecherous eyes, so she dared not let him drive her.

He quickly replied, "No need."

Then they quickly ran off down another road.

Zhang Dazhi thought that female students nowadays were really boring, lacking any romance, and not as open as the widow Zhang who lived near his house.

The moment he thought of Widow Zhang, he started to feel restless, thinking that he would bring her half a pound of sweet potatoes from home today, and then he could have some fun.

Thinking of this, he quickened his pace.

As he approached the road near his home, he walked with increasing urgency.

Xie Feng suddenly darted out from the road at that moment.

Holding a stick, he swung it at Zhang Dazhi's leg. He was so fast that Zhang Dazhi had no time to react.

A stick struck his leg hard; "Ah! Ah!..."

Zhang Dazhi screamed incessantly as Xie Feng swung the stick at him again.

Although Xie Feng was injured, he didn't care that his wounds were torn open, so Zhang Dazhi was still no match for him.

Xie Feng beat him with a stick until he was powerless to resist. He knelt down and apologized to him, "Xie Feng, please let me go! I promise I will never covet your mother's things again, and I will never go to your house to get in your way again. I'm begging you."

He was genuinely terrified; Xie Feng's ruthlessness felt like he was about to kill him.

Xie Feng remained unmoved and struck Zhang Dazhi's legs twice more, knocking him to the ground, just like he had done that morning.

Xie Feng was never one to back down from trouble. So what if he had a worthless life? If they wanted to play, he'd play along.

He picked up a stone from the corner of the wall, and Zhang Dazhi was so frightened by his action that he trembled uncontrollably.

A stream of bright yellow liquid flowed from his trouser leg as Xie Feng approached him step by step, holding a stone.

He tried to stand up, but he was too weak to move. He struggled to crawl forward, crying out, "Help! Help! Someone please save me!"

But no one has appeared here at this time of day, or perhaps someone has appeared but simply doesn't want to get involved.

Seeing his expression, Xie Feng said sarcastically, "You're really useless, aren't you? I haven't even broken your kneecaps yet, and you're already this scared. How boring."
