Li Fang stepped out of her mother's arms and smiled, saying, "Mom, I'm fine now."
She guessed that her parents might come from Northeast China in the next few days, so she would come over here from time to time to check on them.
She was worried they wouldn't be able to find her, but she actually did run into them today.
Yuan Shuo looked his daughter up and down and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that she didn't have the kind of red rash they had described.
Li Fang led the two of them to the guesthouse where she was staying.
As soon as Li Qin entered, she eagerly asked, "What's going on between you and Deng Fangyuan? What did he say about you having some gynecological disease that led to your breakup? Tell Mom properly, is it Su Jiaojiao who deliberately sabotaged things?"
Li Fang briefly explained what had happened to them.

The two breathed a sigh of relief. Curious, they asked, "How did you cure your illness?"
Li Fang exclaimed excitedly, "It's fruit from Su Li's supermarket!"

"What?"
The two said incredulously.
“Mom and Dad, I’m telling you the truth. Deng Fangyuan took all my money. That day I had nowhere to go, so I went to Su Li’s supermarket. Her clerk took pity on me and gave me an apple. After I finished the apple, I noticed that my rash had subsided a bit.”
"The next day, Aunt Chen, who always appeared with Su Li, had a shop assistant give me twenty yuan so I could have a place to stay. Otherwise, I'd still be squatting in the corner of the supermarket right now."
The couple was heartbroken to hear this. When had their daughter ever suffered like this? They shouldn't have been so soft-hearted and listened to her, letting her get engaged to Deng Fangyuan.
