When Eileen Chang woke up again, she had a terrible headache. What came into view was a green meadow, and she thought she had been taken to the countryside by someone.
She got up from the ground and touched her belly. Thankfully, the baby was still there, and she breathed a sigh of relief.
She wandered around and found that there wasn't a single person in the place. It was a really strange place.
She tried to leave, so she started walking in one direction.
Before long, she was back in the same spot, as if she had encountered a ghost wall.
Zhang Ailing felt a little flustered, and she tried to walk in the opposite direction.
As always, the result is the same: returning to the original location.
It gave her the feeling that the world here was only this big.
"Where is this? Who brought her here?"
She had planned to go out today to buy some things and come back quickly, but she didn't expect to be ambushed.
She was tired after walking for so long, so she simply sat down on the ground, thinking that the person who brought her here would definitely come over soon.
She wanted to see which fool dared to kidnap the mayor's wife.
After knocking the person unconscious and putting them into his spatial storage, Xie Feng went to school.
That way, when his father asks, he'll have a reason to deny it.
After school, Xie Feng found a secluded spot and entered the space.
Eileen Chang's eyes widened in disbelief; Xie Feng had appeared out of nowhere right in front of her.
She blinked; he was still there.
"You... how did you get here?"
Xie Feng looked at her, his face filled with hatred; "What do you think?"
Eileen Chang got up from the ground, stood up, pointed at Xie Feng, and said, "It was you, it was you who brought me here?"
Xie Feng nodded, laughing heartily; "Yes! I caught it."
She staggered back a few steps; "If your dad finds out you did this, he won't let you off the hook."
"Shall we give it a try? Will he actually let me off the hook?"
Xie Feng walked a short distance ahead and threw the hoeing tools he had bought last time in front of Zhang Ailing.
"Clear this acre of land within two days, or you can try to see the consequences."
Zhang Ailing looked at the hoe on the ground. Since marrying Xie Changhe, she had lived a life of luxury. Now, she was completely incapable of hoeing.
"Xie Feng, you can't do this to me. I can't do heavy work right now, and where am I?"
Xie Feng looked at her as if she were a clown; "You still can't grasp the situation? Here, what I say goes? Try doing it and see."
After giving the warning, Xie Feng left the space. Zhang Ailing watched Xie Feng disappear from her sight again, and she panicked a little.
What kind of place is this? Why can Xie Feng appear out of thin air? Is he a demon or monster?
No, that's impossible. If he were really her, given his hatred for her, he would have already attacked her.
But what exactly is this place? She can't get out, but he can come and go freely?
"Xie Feng, let me out right now, or your dad will be in big trouble!" Zhang Ailing shouted.
But in this small space, there was no response.
When Xie Feng got home from school, Xie Changhe was already home, and the housekeeper had already prepared dinner.
Xie Changhe saw that Xie Feng had already arrived home, but Zhang Ailing still hadn't returned.
He then asked the nanny, "Did you see where Ailing went today?"
The nanny shook her head; "I went to buy groceries early this morning, and when I came back, there was no one at home."
Xie Changhe turned his gaze to Xie Feng; "Xiao Feng, did you see your mother today?"
Xie Feng nodded; "I saw her. I saw her go out, and she mumbled that she was going to buy something, but I didn't hear her clearly. Then I went to school, and I know whether she came back or not."
Xie Changhe felt that it was unlike Zhang Ailing's usual style for not returning at this time, especially since she had been quite lazy lately.
When she has nothing to do, she doesn't even want to leave the house.
Could it be that she went to her parents' house today? Thinking this, Xie Changhe said to his son, "Let's have dinner first, and after we finish, I'll go ask if the love has gone to the Zhang family."
Xie Feng replied nonchalantly, "Whatever makes you happy."
As he spoke, he sat down at the table. He had just picked up a piece of meat with his chopsticks when he heard the author's voice in his ear: "Xie Feng, don't forget to go to Su Li's factory around 10 pm tonight to meet her."
Xie Feng paused for a moment while picking up food with his chopsticks, then continued eating casually.
After finishing his meal, Xie Feng returned to his room, locked the door, and then entered his spatial dimension.
Once inside the space, Eileen Chang remained seated in the same spot, completely ignoring his warning when he left.
Upon seeing Xie Feng arrive, she quickly stood up from the ground; "Xie Feng, where is this? What are you doing here? Let me out of here!"
She had just walked through this place twice more before she was sure it wasn't her imagination; it really did seem like this place was that big.
No matter which way she went, she couldn't get out.
"Get out? I'll let you out if you plant all this wasteland with grain."
Eileen Chang glanced at the area and thought, "With so much grassland, how long would it take me to plant crops?"
She knew this wasn't the time to confront Xie Feng head-on, so she begged for mercy, "Xie Feng, I know I was too harsh on you before. I was wrong. I'll kneel down and apologize to you now. Please let me go back, and I promise I'll never do anything to hurt you again."
