After Su Li finished dealing with the people, she asked Lu Yang to send all the clothes to the city where Chen Shengnan had been before.
After finishing her business, she returned home, thinking about making something delicious for herself. Chen Shengnan had been saying last night that she hadn't eaten her cooking in a long time and that she craved it every time she thought about it.
That evening, Su Li made a braised lion's head meatball and also grabbed a chicken from her spatial storage to make a pot of chicken soup.
When Chen Shengnan walked into the courtyard, she smelled the fragrance that filled the whole place.
She immediately guessed that Su Li must have made the meal.
The food she cooks always has a special aroma, and she even has a kind of illusion about it.
Every time she finished eating Su Li's cooking, she felt her mind became much clearer.
Chen Shengnan went straight to the kitchen. Seeing her return, Su Li smiled and said, "Wait a moment, the food will be ready soon."
She smiled and said, "It smells so good! I can finally taste your cooking today."
As Chen Shengnan spoke, she brought the dishes that Su Li had cooked to the dining table in the main room. Just as Su Li finished cooking the dishes, Gou Sheng returned.
The three of them sat around the table. Chen Shengnan took a sip of chicken soup and felt extremely satisfied.
This is the taste; she's been craving it for so long.
Seeing Chen Shengnan's blissful expression, Su Li chuckled and teased, "Look at you, so pathetic! It's just a bite to eat. If you like it, I'll make it for you again next time."
Chen Shengnan and Su Li's eyes lit up a bit when Su Li said that.
"Ah Li, you're so kind."
Su Li smiled and looked up to see Gou Sheng eating his meal casually.
"Gousheng, how's your studying lately?"
"Still the same as always, it's fine," Gou Sheng replied listlessly.
Chen Shengnan looked at him and asked, "What's wrong? There's so much delicious food, but you seem distracted. Are you thinking about that girl?"
Gou Sheng's cheeks flushed slightly. Apart from class time, he spent most of his time thinking about how to be with Tang Yue, to the point that he was almost obsessed.
"Sister, I'd like to have tomorrow off, how about we go up the mountain together?"
Su Li understood perfectly well what he meant; "I think you just want to invite Yueyue along! Inviting me and your sister Shengnan is just a pretext."
Chen Shengnan took a bite of chicken and teased Gou Sheng, "Well, you've learned to beat around the bush now."
Gou Sheng scratched his head; he really wanted to see Tang Yue every day.
She always avoided it. Even when she occasionally saw it, she felt happy but also a little secretive, as if she was afraid of being discovered by her sister.
He didn't want things to continue like this, and thought that he could take advantage of this trip up the mountain to get to the bottom of things.
"Sister Shengnan, I didn't mean anything by it. I just thought that since you've come all this way, my sister and I wanted to keep you company and have some fun."
Chen Shengnan smiled and said, "Although I know you're just kidding me, I've agreed."
Gou Sheng looked at Su Li again.
Su Li nodded. She happened to have nothing else to do, so she decided to go.
The next day arrived quickly, and Gou Sheng had told him about the appointment early in the morning, asking him to go.
The main problem is that Gou Sheng has tried to meet Tang Yue privately several times during this period, but she has refused to come out.
The three of them had just stepped out of their house when they bumped into Gu Huanian.
He had just returned from a mission and hadn't even gone home yet. He came to Su Li's place first, still wearing his military uniform.
He really did miss this little woman.
He glanced at the three of them. Although Su Li was dressed casually today, she had a delicate face and wore a high ponytail.
She looks youthful and vibrant, which is refreshing.
Where are you headed?
Su Li smiled and said, "We plan to go for a walk in the mountains."
"Then I'll go with you."
And so, another person joined the group, and the group went to Tang Yue's house first.
Su Li knocked on the door, and Tang Xin opened it.
Tang Xin noticed her pale face and coldly asked, "What are you doing here?"
If it weren't for Gou Sheng, Su Li would have left immediately.
Look at her cold face. Not to mention that she helped them back in Lijiatun.
Even if they were just normal neighbors, she shouldn't have given them the cold shoulder.
"Is Tang Yue home? I'm here to find her."
Tang Xin pouted and said impatiently, "She's not here. She went out on a date with her boyfriend."
Su Li thought, "It's no wonder Tang Xin is so annoying. Just now, when I opened the door, I saw Tang Yue's figure flash by."
Now she says she went on a date; she's just spreading rumors with her mouth.
"I know she's home. We made plans to go to the mountains together today. Could you please call her out?"
Gou Sheng also walked to Su Li's side. Tang Xin looked at him with a faint light in her eyes.
"Sister Tang Xin, please let Yueyue out! We're all going up the mountain together. You can come too if you want. I heard there are lots of red maple leaves on the mountain this time of year, it's very beautiful."
Tang Xin hesitated for a moment and asked, "Can I really go?"
Gou Sheng nodded; he had figured out a bit about this woman.
If we don't let her go, Yueyue probably won't even be able to leave the house.
For now, we can only bring Yueyue out first and then pin our hopes on her older sister, hoping she can hold Tang Xin back on the mountain.
Give him and Yueyue some time alone.
"Then come in, Yueyue and I will pack up and go with you."
The group followed Tang Xin into the courtyard.
Tang Xin called out to Tang Yue in the room, "Yueyue, come out and greet everyone, I'm going to change my clothes."
Tang Yue then came out, and Gou Sheng's eyes lit up when he saw her.
