She didn't want to argue with her, so she just listened quietly. Tang Yue had heard too many things from her these past few days, some sarcastic, some sarcastic, some that made her feel sorry for her, and some that made her feel sorry for her.
She always started by criticizing her, and then proceeded to apologize in various ways.
Tang Xin was furious when she saw that she looked like she was about to die.
She stepped forward and gently pushed her; "Didn't you want to be with Gousheng? I'll grant your wish. Come with me to a place first."
Upon hearing this, Tang Yue asked with some surprise, "Sister, you really agree?"
Tang Xin nodded, "I used to dislike Gou Sheng, but today I realized that he really is protecting you. I thought about it and realized I was being too serious before. I remember there's a really beautiful spot around here, why don't you come with me to see it?"
Tang Yue hesitated for a moment; "But what if Gou Sheng comes back and can't find us? Should we wait for him a little longer? When Gou Sheng comes, can we go together?"
Tang Xin stepped forward and took her arm; "It's okay, that place isn't far from here, we can come back to find him later, we'll make it in time."
After she finished speaking, she pulled Tang Yue forward without saying another word.
The two walked for about ten minutes and arrived at a place where the scenery was indeed as beautiful as Tang Xin had said.
The mountainside is steep, though.
Tang Xin wanted to pull Tang Yue forward.
Tang Yue grabbed her and said, "The mountains here are too steep. There's a cliff edge just ahead. It's too dangerous."
Tang Xin smiled and said, "It's alright, Yueyue. Do you see that red fruit over there? It looks delicious. I'm thirsty right now. If you're scared, you can stay here while I pick it."
Tang Yue didn't move again; she had been really irritable these past two days.
She was getting tired of this kind of life; Tang Xin would sometimes mock her, and other times praise her.
She's now wondering if it's really as Gou Sheng said, that she always gives in to her and lets her have her way.
She only became so unrestrained because she felt that there were no boundaries between them.
This time it's obvious she's just looking for trouble.
Tang Xin became anxious when she saw that she didn't move.
Whenever she did something dangerous, Tang Yue would stop her and go up herself.
But what's going on now? She's not stopping me at all.
This is so unlike her.
Tang Xin was about to reach the edge of the cliff, but Tang Yue still didn't say a word.
She got a little anxious and pretended to twist her ankle.
Seeing that she was about to fall, Tang Yue quickly stepped forward and helped her back.
Tang Xin sighed inwardly, this trick was indeed effective.
"I told you it's dangerous there, why wouldn't you listen?"
Tang Xin said somewhat aggrievedly, "I just want that red fruit! You know my personality; if I can't eat it today, I'll feel really bad."
"Then you can be upset. You didn't even know if the fruit was edible, yet you went to pick it, and it was so dangerous there."
Tang Yue didn't want to indulge her today; her mind was filled with Gou Sheng's words: "Live for yourself, and stop caring about other people's feelings."
Tang Xin was very surprised. Tang Yue was really strange today. She never contradicted what she said before.
Why are you still criticizing her now?
"Yueyue, you weren't like this before. How did you become like this? All I wanted was that red fruit. You won't even give it to me? You never used to refuse me."
Tang Yue remained expressionless; the disturbance she had caused had left her head feeling dull and aching.
Now, no matter what Tang Xin says, Tang Yue doesn't want to listen or pay attention. She doesn't want to do anything either; she just wants to go back to Gou Sheng.
Thinking this, she suddenly found courage. She was going to find Gousheng and tell him that she liked him.
I only like him, and I only want to be with him for the rest of my life.
She didn't want to be manipulated by Tang Xin like a puppet anymore.
Thinking of this, a genuine smile unconsciously appeared on her lips.
She turned around, neither looking at Tang Xin nor replying to her.
Instead, she headed straight back the way she came, eager to see Gou Sheng.
Seeing that she was about to leave, Tang Xin quickly ran over and grabbed her.
Without waiting for a reply, she said, "Yueyue, I really like that fruit. Can you pick it for me?"
"Let go of me. I won't be bound by you anymore. Do whatever you want from now on! I won't interfere anymore. From today onwards, I'm going to live for myself."
Tang Xin was somewhat annoyed when she heard her words.
During their argument, the two somehow ended up at the edge of a cliff. Tang Xin pointed at the red fruit and said to Tang Yue, "You pick it for me, or you're not allowed to leave."
Tang Yue looked at Tang Xin's somewhat distorted face, then looked down at her feet.
Feeling a little panicked, she said, "Sister, let go of me first, it's too dangerous here."
Tang Xin wouldn't listen to a word she said; all she knew was that her younger sister was no longer under her control.
She doesn't like it this way, so how can she not listen to herself?
Thinking of this, she inexplicably let go, and then pushed forward with her other hand.
"ah!......."
Tang Xin's heart skipped a beat as she watched Tang Yue fall.
Watching Tang Yue fall towards the bottom of the cliff, she felt a strange sense of satisfaction.
"Without you, Gou Sheng will only have eyes for me from now on. Don't worry, I will take good care of him for you."
Thinking of this, a smile appeared on her lips, but she quickly stopped smiling.
The ground beneath my feet was moving, and the entire mountain was shaking.
