The area is overgrown with weeds, and apart from this house, there's almost nothing else.
However, it appears that Ishihara has cultivated a vegetable garden outside the courtyard, suggesting that he genuinely intends to stay here for an extended period.
"We don't have Beijing roast duck here, but we do have other kinds of roast duck. If you want some, I'll go buy some for you later."
Su Li turned and walked into the courtyard, saying, "I'm going back now. You go and buy it for me!"
Ishihara looked at her. He wasn't stupid. Su Li wanted to get rid of him.
He couldn't detect even the slightest hint of craving for roast duck in her eyes.
However, he didn't expose her, but looked at Su Li with even deeper eyes and said, "Okay, you go back and rest for a while, I'll go buy you roast duck."
The two walked into the courtyard, and Ishihara subconsciously closed the gate.
He walked to the table and poured Su Li a glass of water, saying, "Have some water, I'll go buy you roast duck later."
Su Li took the cup and drank it down. She knew that if she didn't drink the spiked water, Ishihara wouldn't leave.
After finishing her water, Su Li said to Ishihara, "I'm going back to my room. Call me when you come back to buy it."
Ishihara smiled faintly, his eyes sparkling as he watched Su Li walk step by step toward the room.
He didn't rush to leave. After about ten minutes, he walked familiarly toward the window of Su Li's room.
