"Zhao Meilan, are you stealing something?"
Zhao Meilan stood up, dusted herself off, and glared at Su Li, saying, "What nonsense are you talking about? Tingting and I are the closest. I'm keeping these things for her and will return them to her when she comes back, to prevent them from being stolen by scoundrels."
When he mentioned "petty person," his eyes glanced at Su Li, making his meaning all too clear.
Su Li wasn't buying it; "I advise you to put your things back exactly as you took them, or I'll report you for stealing to the brigade leader. Also, hand over the keys to my yard."
This key was given to her by Zhao Meilan when she went to town last time, after she coaxed Zhou Yuting into giving it to her. Of course, she didn't want to hand it over.
She even wanted to move into Zhou Yuting's room.
But that would be too blatant, so today she decided to take all the good things Zhou Yuting brought. Since Zhou Yuting wasn't coming back anyway, and these things were just sitting there, she might as well give them to her.
But Su Li is really annoying; she always ruins her plans.
I really hope Su Jiaojiao acts quickly and deals with her now, so she won't cause trouble every day.

Su Li put away the key to the yard, locked Zhou Yuting's room, took two apples, and headed towards the brigade leader's house.

It's fair to say that apart from Su Jiaojiao, no one at the educated youth settlement was willing to pay any attention to the two of them.
Su Jiaojiao is a nice person; she's pretty and has plenty of money, and she often shares food with them.
They still believed some of what she said.
However, Chen Shengnan is not good at lying. She either doesn't say anything at all or only tells the truth, which can be really infuriating at times.
Neither group was easy to deal with, so they simply remained listeners and didn't offer any opinions.
"Zhao Meilan, can you clean up your own mess before you criticize others? Yesterday you stole the half-eaten apple that was left by my bed."
Mentioning this made Chen Shengnan angry. The apple was given to her by Su Li; it was especially sweet and delicious, and she liked it very much.
After taking a bite, she suddenly had a stomachache and went to the toilet. She thought that Zhao Meilan and Jiang Meifang, whom she had bitten, would not steal any more food, but she still overestimated Zhao Meilan.
