Binding

Binding

The dim light from the bedside lamp softly enveloped the person lying on her back in the middle of the bed, covering her with a hazy warm veil.

The red rope is wrapped around the shoulders and neck, and the crisscross knots slightly sink into the delicate skin, like a net with a precise density, tightly entangling the prey.

The surging blood was hidden beneath the muscular body, and only a hint of it could be seen from the slightly rapid breathing.

His emotionless gaze started from the wrists handcuffed to the bed, and went all the way down along the tattoo of a heart wrapped in thorns. It seemed real, and every intentional stop was peeling off the shell of the hunter's intellect.

As soon as the cool fingertips touched the warm skin, they caused an unbearable tremor.

Zhou Qiting ignored the hidden tension of the person next to him, and traced her straight collarbone inch by inch with his fingertips, finally stopping on a rough gun scar, rubbing it vaguely.

"How did you get all these scars on your body?"

From the very beginning, Zhou Min didn't dare to look at Zhou Qiting.

But closing her eyes would amplify the sensory stimulation, so she could only stare at the decorations on the edge of the ceiling, tightly clenching her handcuffed hands, trying her best to suppress her body's reactions.

So Zhou Min was unable to judge Zhou Qiting's emotions from her soft voice and could only remain silent.

Unfortunately, the constant pressure on her collarbone was amplified little by little through her sensitive nerves, constantly shaking her self-control.

Zhou Min's voice was hoarse: "Can you... let me go first..."

"No." He said in a resolute tone.

Zhou Min took a deep breath and uttered word by word through clenched teeth: "As an agent of the Investigation Bureau...it's normal to get hurt."

It sounds insignificant, but Zhou Yiting only believes what she sees with her own eyes. Apart from the gunshot wounds, she doesn't think those fine and narrow scars were caused by fighting.

Her fingertips no longer lingered on her collarbone, but instead traced over every old scar, forcing those around her to offer further explanations.

"Stop... stop first... I'm saying."

Zhou Qiting was unusually obedient tonight.

Without the distraction, Zhou Min regained some of his sanity and began to make up a story slowly and intermittently, hoping to coax the young lady into not tormenting her with such gentle but tiring methods.

"A few years ago, I was ordered to carry out a rescue mission, which required me to sneak into the criminals' base deep in the mountains alone to rescue the trapped hostages.

The mission went smoothly at the beginning, but during the escape, the hostage accidentally left behind traces, which led to us being surrounded and intercepted by the criminals just when we were about to successfully connect with the rescue team in the rear.

Protecting the hostages is my mission, so in order to cover the hostages' escape, I chose to stay and fight the criminals.

Fortunately, the hostages were successfully rescued and I was only slightly tortured."

To neutralize the tragic ending of the fabricated story, Zhou Min pulled the corners of his mouth and smiled with relief: "Anyway, I survived well."

His palms gently pressed on the top of her head, and a fragrant embrace wrapped around Zhou Min's body, silently comforting her.

Zhou Min knew that the young lady had good intentions. If she were not tied up at the moment, she might have indulged in this gentle embrace.

Unfortunately, it was impossible. The light nightgown rose and fell with her breathing, and the gaps revealed by the red rope rubbed against Zhou Min's skin. What made her even more unbearable was the body wrapped in the nightgown.

Soft and comfortable.

The gentle breath in the crook of his neck stirred Zhou Min's mind.

"Um..." Can you put some clothes on me too? The only two pieces of cloth Zhou Min had on her body were not enough to resist the excessive stimulation.

"Will you blame the person who left the trace?" A trembling voice suddenly interrupted Zhou Min's words.

It was so sudden, as if he was just making small talk. Noticing something was wrong with Zhou Qiting, Zhou Min, who rarely spotted a flaw in the young lady, didn't miss this opportunity.

"Are you crying?"

The stinging pain from teeth biting the side of his neck made Zhou Min's breathing stop.

The real murderer. Zhou Min, who almost sighed, didn't dare to provoke the young lady again, so he followed her question and slowly explained: "How could I blame her? This wasn't her original intention. If I have to blame anyone, it should be those criminals. I know what's going on."

Zhou Qiting didn't say anything else. Just when Zhou Min wanted to lower his head to look at her expression, a cool palm covered Zhou Min's eyes in time.

"Don't look." This time he bit his jaw.

If you don't want to watch it, then don't watch it, crybaby. The real crybaby snorted disdainfully, completely forgetting what would happen if he angered the young lady.

"Can I take a day off for you tomorrow?" His voice returned to a steady state, even frighteningly calm.

What? Zhou Min opened his eyes wide in disbelief, his eyelashes brushing against Zhou Qiting's palm.

"No, that won't work. I love going to work the most!" When people are anxious, they can say anything against their will, and Zhou Min is no exception.

A gentle laugh with a warm breath brushed past the ear, followed by a lingering kiss on the red earlobe.

"I'll let you go for now."

Zhou Ming had just been freed from his restraints, but before he could even rejoice, he was told that he had to stay tonight to warm the eldest lady's bed.

Not letting go.

Bed warming, such an ambiguous term. Zhou Min couldn't help but think about it, but he kindly suggested: "You can turn on the heating."

Zhou Qiting looked straight at Zhou Min, with a hint of red still in his eye sockets, which made his black pupils look a little... pitiful.

This idea really shocked Zhou Min. She actually used the word "pitiful" in her mind to describe the arrogant eldest lady.

But Zhou Qiting had already said he'd let him go, so he wouldn't go back on his word, right? Zhou Min felt at ease as he went to the bathroom, ready to take a shower and wash away the light sweat that had seeped out of his body.

After locking the bathroom door, Zhou Min came to the mirror, took off his contact lenses, looked directly into the pair of golden eyes in the mirror, and smiled silently.

Zhou Qiting, can I take your compassion as proof that you are attracted to me?

-

Early in the morning, her biological clock working, Zhou Min, who had a dreamless night, opened her eyes, still clad in dark brown contact lenses. As she slowly woke up, her arms tingled with numbing sensations, reminding her that she had been hugging Zhou Qiting since she fell asleep.

The person in my arms was kept warm.

It's another day of diligent work.

The morning light seeped in through the gaps in the curtains like water, and the faint light flowed quietly in the room. Zhou Min looked at Zhou Qiting's peaceful sleeping face and was a little absent-minded for a moment.

Not as arrogant as when he was a child, nor as deep-minded as when he was awake. He was defenselessly calm, like a sleeping animal.

It makes people want to bite her throat off and lick the blood that flows out.

The sudden feeling of hunger made Zhou Min feel a little thirsty.

The next moment, her eyes, which had suddenly opened, met Zhou Min's dark gaze, which was as calm as water.

"Can't."

After saying that, she closed her eyes again and moved closer to Zhou Min, finding a comfortable angle and preparing to continue sleeping.

Zhou Min, who was caught red-handed, asked in disbelief: "How do you know what I'm thinking?"

"You look like you want to eat me." With her face buried in the crook of his neck, Zhou Yiting's voice sounded a little muffled.

What are you talking about! I want to eat, but not really. Anyway, it’s not the kind of food you think it is!

Zhou Min had no way to defend himself and could only remain silent. He tried to gently pull out his arm that was resting under Zhou Qiting's neck, in order to retaliate against her misunderstanding of him by disturbing her sleep.

"Um?"

The simple tone of the person in her arms triggered many dangerous scenes in Zhou Min's mind, making her dare not act rashly and act as a pillow obediently.

Time passed by, and Zhou Min tried to get up again and again, but was stopped by the eldest daughter, who didn't have to go to work on time. Zhou Qiting even bit her neck because she was angry about getting up.

Who wants to eat who? Zhou Min was indignant.

So, Zhou Min was late today, unprecedentedly.

She ignored everyone's curious gazes and walked to her workstation with ease.

Of course it was easy. After the security check and shift change, she couldn't bring in any of the weapons she was supposed to bring today, and the weight on her body was reduced a lot.

Thinking of Zhou Qiting saying nonchalantly before leaving, "Then come back to get it tonight," Zhou Min felt deeply powerless.

She always felt that the "temporarily" in Zhou Qiting's words "I'll let you go for now" last night would not last more than a day.

Besides, Zhou Min has to review his colleagues' work results tonight, so he has no time to play with the eldest lady.

Thinking of this, Zhou Min's gaze fell on Huang Peiyi beside him, and happened to meet her resentful gaze.

Huang Peiyi, whose eyes were dark blue, suppressed the urge to yawn and quietly handed a USB flash drive from under the table to Zhou Min.

You see, pressure is motivation. My good colleague even completed the task I assigned her ahead of time. Zhou Min took the USB drive and was in a good mood.

"Thank you, and I wish you good luck in your work." Zhou Min expressed his gratitude sincerely.

In fact, my work would be smoother without you. Huang Peiyi endured it again and again and did not say what was in her heart.

Although the person in front of her had no intention of interfering with her work at first, and later stopped the client's person who wanted to intimidate her, Huang Peiyi couldn't help but feel resentful because of her, as she was reduced to working for nothing.

Zhou Min naturally noticed Huang Peiyi's dissatisfaction with her, but she didn't care much and picked up her phone to send her a message.

"I know what you want. Maybe after I see what you have given me, I can give you an opportunity at the right time."

Zhou Min didn't mean to be so ambiguous, but she wouldn't easily make a promise without any certainty.

She also knew that because of her own reasons, her good colleague suffered heavy losses, so she decided to compensate Huang Peiyi in this way.

A moment later, Zhou Min received a message, but it was not a reply from Huang Peiyi.

"Don't you like going to work? Why are you playing on your phone?"

Zhou Min's hand trembled, and he looked up alertly, looking around, searching for the figure of the young lady who liked to supervise.

To no avail, Zhou Min replied dejectedly: "Where are you? Why can't I see you?"

"I tricked you."

Zhou! Qi! Ting!

Zhou Min was so angry that he wanted to bite Zhou Qiting through the screen.

"Are you angry?"

It was the same sentence structure as the one Zhou Min used when he mocked Zhou Qiting last night: "Are you crying?"

I'm not angry, I'm not angry, what should I be angry about? Zhou Min immediately turned off his phone and decided not to turn it on again before leaving work today.
