The woman burped, took a break, and then spoke.

The lamp's light was a brilliant white, illuminating the entire room. The room was dry and clean. Against the inner wall stood a cloud bed carved from rock, covered in scrolls of documents. Su Rui suspected that these were the requests for help from the Taoist temple at the foot of the mountain that Yuan Ning had mentioned.
Su Rui picked up a volume, opened it and started reading.
"There are poisonous bees in Niutou Town that kill people. These bees are about the size of an adult's fist. The pain is unbearable and the bees are extremely venomous. Anyone stung twice will not survive more than two nights and will die wailing. I hope the elders and brothers will have mercy and come down the mountain to eliminate the bees as soon as possible! The prosperous and optimistic people of Niutou Town pay their respects!"
Suri put the document aside and took out another one.

Su Rui read several of them in a row. Almost all of them were requests for help, and almost all of them were about demons. The demons were either demons or demon humans, which made him feel a little bored.
