Chapter 225 Old Acquaintance

As Chi Jiao and Su Rui arrived on the island, someone landed on the island with a beam of light.

Those men landed in front of Su Rui and the other two without even glancing at them. One of them spoke in an overbearing, arrogant tone, "From now on, this island will be our Kunlun Sect's temporary overseas base! If you guys know what's good for you, you'd better leave immediately and don't ask for trouble!"

There were four people arriving. Su Rui didn't recognize the one who spoke first, but the other three were old acquaintances. One of them was the son of a Kunlun elder, whom he had fought alongside—Shi Chaoyun, the Kunlun disciple Su Rui nicknamed "Know-it-all." The other two were the Kunlun boy Minglang and the Kunlun girl Feng'er, who had previously clashed on Heshan Mountain and had been taken back to the sect by the red-dressed Kunlun woman for self-reflection.

Just as the Kunlun disciple was speaking out, the three men noticed Su Rui's presence. However, their expressions were different. Shi Chaoyun's expression was filled with helplessness, with a hint of apology. Meanwhile, the Kunlun boy Minglang and the Kunlun girl Feng'er looked at Su Rui with hostility, their faces filled with murderous intent, their teeth clenched, and they hated him to the core.

However, before Su Rui could even open his mouth, the first to react was the Red Dragon! It casually waved its arms, and a flash of lightning and flames darted towards the Kunlun disciple.

By this time, the Red Dragon had successfully cultivated to the realm of a demonic true form, possessing the body of a true dragon. Its power was truly extraordinary. Every simple movement imbued it with immense might. The lightning and fire it emitted was imbued with the poisonous aura of earthly fire. Initially a mere flicker of fire, it rapidly expanded during flight into a massive, pitch-black, crimson-hued fiery serpent, as thick as a bucket. With astonishing force, it charged directly towards the Kunlun disciple.

Clearly, the Kunlun disciple hadn't anticipated the Kunlun name being so ineffective. Coupled with the Chi Jiao's swift attack, he was momentarily flustered. He hastily activated his flying sword to try and block the attack, but it was no match for the ferocious fire snake. In the blink of an eye, he and his flying sword were blasted back a full three feet!

However, he seemed to be wearing a precious robe with good defensive power, which successfully offset most of the damage caused by the fire snake. Although this attack stunned him, it did not cause much actual damage.

Only then did Su Rui, smiling, pull Chi Jiao back and turn to the three Kunlun Sect members who were still standing there and say, "Oh, you're too late! This island has already been occupied by our Qingcheng Sect!"

The Kunlun Sect's boy, Minglang, and girl, Feng'er, had always been accustomed to bullying others. How could they possibly endure such humiliation? Even though their master, the woman in red, had taken them back to the sect for a long period of confinement for their previous mischief, how could their arrogant and domineering natures change so easily? They were instantly enraged and unleashed their magical flying swords, ready to attack Su Rui and the others.

At this point, Shi Chaoyun was not in a position to greet Su Rui, so he silently took out his crystal clear flying sword that looked like it was carved from ice, and put on an attitude of solidarity with the other two.

The first to lose her temper and strike was the Kunlun girl Feng'er. She formed a sword gesture with her hands, muttering a spell. The cyan flying sword in her hand instantly transformed into a long cyan rainbow, flying like lightning straight towards the red dragon's brow!

Seeing Feng'er taking action, the boy next to him was not willing to be outdone. He shouted, "You bold monster, how dare you pretend to be a disciple of Qingcheng Sect, give me your life!" With this angry shout, he first threw out his Immortal Binding Silk, which turned into a golden light and flew straight towards Su Rui; then he urged the flying sword under his feet to follow closely behind.

Seeing them take action, Shi Chaoyun had no choice but to take action, driving his flying sword and stabbing at Shi Yi fiercely...

The red dragon snorted coldly, a flick of disdain in his eyes. He stretched out his finger and lightly flicked it, and a ball of inky black flame erupted from his fingertip. The black fire quickly expanded and grew, and in the blink of an eye, it transformed into an enormous claw, which with fierce momentum grabbed the girl Feng'er's green flying sword fiercely.

This giant claw, formed from black fire, seemed to possess life. Its surface was covered in dense black-red scales, and was covered in black poisonous smoke and flames, making people shudder. It pounced on the cyan flying sword, as if to capture and destroy it in one fell swoop.

Seeing this, the girl, Feng'er, was startled, but she didn't panic. She gripped the cyan flying sword tightly, muttering something to herself as she unleashed the sword techniques she had learned. The cyan flying sword instantly emitted a dazzling azure light and collided with the giant claw, emitting a dull thud.

It turned out that the Taoist technique the red dragon had used was called "Innate Qi Grabbing." This magical power was quite popular among the human race, favored by many powerful masters. The reason was simple: it was not only easy to use but also incredibly powerful, making it the only way to defeat the enemy.

It is worth mentioning that within the Buddhist community, there is a sect called Vajra Temple that has a particular fondness for the "Innate Qi Grasping Hand." Most of the disciples of this sect are proficient in this technique, and with this unique skill, they have become famous in the martial arts world.

Meanwhile, Su Rui, watching the boy Minglang unleash rainbow-like celestial trapping silk towards him, remained unfazed. Instead, he calmly drew from his bosom a pair of swords gleaming with purple and blue light—the Purple Swan and Blue Luan swords! With a gentle shout, the swords in his hands instantly took flight, as light and agile as dancing butterflies.
