There was no doubt that these black banners before him were woven from black silk and held the spirits of living beings as their primary deities. Immortal Yu'e, walking in the front, sprinted past the man. With a casual swing of the Moonlight Sword, a stream of Gengjin Sword Fury instantly erupted, easily breaking through the opponent's Xuanyin Soul Refining Formation and destroying two of its black banners. Then, leaving these words behind, his figure vanished into the distant sky like a ghost.
The man's face suddenly changed drastically after being easily broken by True Man Yu'e. He secretly groaned in pain. He quickly pulled out two brand-new Xuanyin Beast Gathering Banners from his arms and, like a frightened bird, he carried the eighty-one Xuanyin Beast Gathering Banners and rushed off in panic into the distance.
The Xuanyin Beast Gathering Banner in his hand seemed to have some magical power of acceleration. Without noticing, he had already flown a mile away at such a fast speed that it was like lightning across the sky.
"Hey, you coward, don't run!"
Su Rui couldn't help but curse inwardly. With no other choice, he could only speed up his escape beams and chase after the other person. Seeing this, his fellow Qingcheng Sect members behind him also split into two escape beams, closely following Su Rui, and flew rapidly in the same direction. The rest of the group continued to advance in the direction where Master Yu'e had disappeared.
The Xuanyin Sect's leader, the eldest brother, was seen darting past like a meteor, at an extremely fast speed. However, under the powerful pressure of the Liangyi Microdust Formation, he was occasionally forced to stop and spend some time to deal with the stranglehold of the formation.
Meanwhile, Su Rui's situation was completely different. He possessed a magical azure strands that allowed him to move unhindered within the formation. Though his speed was slightly inferior, he still managed to catch up with his opponent. Without hesitation, he unleashed eight or nine innate Gengjin thunderbolt sword energies. These sword energies, like lightning, struck directly at the opponent with piercing force.
Faced with this sudden attack, the Xuanyin Sect leader, the eldest brother, quickly activated the Xuanyin Gathering Banner. As he cast the spell, a vast black curtain suddenly rose before him, like an indestructible barrier. Su Rui's innate Gengjin Chi Lei sword auras collided with this black curtain, emitting bursts of roaring sword energy, but were ultimately blocked.
