He then ordered Zhao Zhuan to arrange for someone to bring pen, ink, paper, and inkstone, and he wrote down his newly compiled "The Wonderful Sutra of the Buddha's Way to Save Humanity" in a fluent and flowing style. He also included a lifelike image of the Buddha he had created through meditation. Finally, he also kept a copy of the method for refining the Five Poison Gu that Hu Mei'e had previously taught him!
He possessed a vast array of cultivation techniques, encompassing not only various Daoist methods acquired from the Qingcheng Sect and the Langya Immortal Palace, but also precious ones he had stumbled upon by chance, such as the Xuanming Sutra passed down from Heshan, the Gengjin Sword Qi Jue from the City God Temple, and the unique Daoist techniques inherited from the Fire Crow Taoist and the Green-Winged Bat King. These three illusory threads extended from a phantom Buddha statue within the Niwan Palace of Surui, traversing the void to connect with Zhao Zhuan and the other two, much like fishing lines. This unique connection has a special name in the "Great and Small Sandalwood Sutra for the Salvation of All Beings"—"Cause and Effect Threads."
After doing all this, Su Rui was about to set up a light of escape to leave Tongqu County when a figure suddenly appeared in front of him and blocked his way.
