Suri finally got the house.
A single Dongzhu pearl was already quite valuable, and a hectare of the same size was even more priceless. Only a prodigal like Su Rui would be so generous as to trade a hectare of Dongzhu pearls for a house in a remote town.
The young scholar even went there in person to help him, and asked a public servant from the town who specialized in house sales to come and handle the property transfer procedures, for fear that Su Rui would go back on his word.
After all the formalities were completed, the young scholar took Dongzhu and his wife and children and left the house and left.
As soon as the door was closed, Su Rui asked the servants to bring all the wine and meat left by the original owner to the table, and he ate and drank with Chi Jiao and the little fox demon.
Su Rui possessed the body of a powerful ape, with a voracious appetite capable of devouring a cow alive. Chi Jiao, a dragon, had an even greater appetite than Su Rui, and even three cows wouldn't fill his stomach. Only the little fox demon could be dealt with with just a chicken.
When the servants saw how much Su Rui and Chi Jiao ate, they thought they were monsters. They were so scared that they ran out of the house and found places to hide.
Su Rui didn't care about the servants' escape. He would naturally not be stingy with the servants who stayed in the mansion, but it would not be so easy for those who escaped to come back.
With so many people gone, the house suddenly became much quieter.
He planned to use this house as a place for Chi Jiao and the little fox demon to stay. In the future, if they wanted to go up the mountain, they could stay in his cave, and when they came down the mountain, they could stay in this house. It was like they had a place to stay, both offensive and defensive!
Su Rui even released the little ant and its army of ants, letting them find their own nest and establish their ant kingdom within the courtyard. Su Rui had previously tossed the little creature and its army into a small cloth bag when he returned to the county government office. Now that it had seen the light of day, the little ant was overjoyed, flying around the yard, attracting bees and butterflies, like a hardy human child.
It was the morning of the second day after Suri got the house.
The sound of gongs and drums was so loud that the whole town was frightened and hid.
Su Rui walked out of the house curiously and moved towards the direction where the gongs and drums were sounding.
When he reached the street, he saw the two young men from yesterday running towards the center of the town in panic.
"Is that the demon bee coming?"
Suri stepped forward to stop them and asked hurriedly.
The young man pushed aside Su Rui's obstruction and responded anxiously, "The demon bees have already invaded the town and started killing people. Run! It will be too late!"
Su Rui stretched his head to look behind the two of them, and indeed saw several black spots flying towards them with a buzzing sound.
Su Rui stopped where he was and waited for a while until the black specks finally flew closer. They turned out to be a few fist-sized black wild bees, which swarmed towards him when they saw Su Rui.
Su Rui naturally would not let them get close to him. He immediately opened the vertical eye between his eyebrows and activated the "Mori Golden Light Pupil". A majestic pressure unique to a superior god emanated from the vertical eye on his forehead. A black-clawed wild bee that was stared at by his vertical eye was frightened and stiffened, falling to the ground from the air.
The remaining few black-clawed wild bees were frightened and flew back, circling around him about ten feet away.
Su Rui took out the green fly insects that did not have the Geng metal attribute that he had obtained from Hu Mei'e from the small cloth bag, and asked these green fly insects to surround and kill the black-eared wild bees. He himself walked to the black-eared wild bee that fell to the ground, flapped its wings and kept spinning, trying to take off again.
Being targeted by Su Rui's golden pupil again, the unfortunate Moao wild bee became stiff again and lost the ability to move.
Su Rui reached out and picked it up from the ground. He looked at it carefully and found that the black wild bee had shiny black armor all over its body, its two compound eyes had a hint of red, its two fangs were extremely sharp, and there was a black stinger at the tip of its tail, which was intimidating.
"This guy looks like a black warrior in armor, so ferocious and powerful!" Su Rui exclaimed.
At this moment, a great battle had quietly begun three feet away from him.
The green fly insects released by Su Rui resembled cicadas, with wings as broad as a butterfly and a beautiful turquoise color. They were slightly smaller than the black-clawed wild bees and lacked the Geng-metal attribute. While their toxicity and defense were not low, they were no match for the black-clawed wild bees in a one-on-one fight.
The Green Fly Guinsoos survived because they were simply too numerous. Su Rui had released a total of thirty-six Green Fly Guinsoos, but five or six died the instant they surrounded the Black Ao Bees, all killed by the stingers on their tails. This made Su Rui feel a pang of pain just watching.
However, after Su Rui put away the black wild bee in his hand and turned his gaze, the group of green louse insects gave up the one-on-one combat mode and attacked without any moral fighting ethics. In the blink of an eye, they ate up the black wild bees.
Su Rui put the green fly insect back into the small cloth bag, and then began to walk slowly towards the direction where the black wild bee was flying.
However, before he had taken a few steps, he heard a louder buzzing sound in front of him, approaching his direction.
“It really is not over yet!”
Su Rui cursed inwardly and simply took out all the green fly poisonous insects in the small cloth bag, including the Gengjin green fly poisonous insects that he had refined into the Green Fly Sword. He broke them all up and released them.
Hu Mei'e had originally given him ninety green fly insects, eighteen of which possessed Gengjin attributes, and seventy-two of which did not. Just now, Su Rui had released the insects into battle, and six had died, leaving eighty-four remaining.
