Grandma Si's eyes widened in disbelief, "Jingguo is possessed?"
"Yeah." Si Jingguo nodded and glanced at Si Jingyu who was already sitting in the hall. "The master saved me and helped me catch the poisonous insect."
"Insect?" Grandpa Si and Grandma Si exclaimed in unison, then covered their mouths and looked at each other. Did the sound just now not get out?
"What's going on? Isn't it just possessed? Why is there another poisonous insect?" asked Grandpa Si.
"Grandpa and grandma, please sit down. This is a long story."
Grandpa Si and Grandma Si sat down as they were told.
Si Jingguo then told the story of how he was poisoned and collided with someone, and that person's soul entered his body.
After hearing the whole story, Grandpa Si frowned, "That person in your body tempted you to kill Xiaoyu?"
"Um."
Grandpa Si turned to look at Si Jingyu, "Xiaoyu, do you have a grudge against that person?"
Si Jingyu shook his head, "Probably not, unless his family members are spies."
Of course, he couldn't tell anyone that the man was a water ghost.
Grandpa Si hummed, and said, "That's right, Xiaoyu has never caught anyone other than spies."
But so many spies were arrested in those two years, who knows whose family member that person is?
After thinking about it, he slapped Si Jingguo again. He was stupid, too stupid. He was tricked and used by others. He didn't trust his own brother but trusted outsiders!
How could he have such a stupid grandson!
"Jingguo, do you know where you went wrong?"
"Well, my grandson knows. He mistakenly trusted someone he shouldn't have trusted, and almost harmed the family members he should have trusted the most."
Grandpa Si ignored the question and asked, "Where's the Gu worm? What's going on?"
Si Jingguo then briefly explained that the poisonous insect might have come from Deputy Director Chen.
