Chapter 32: Effort

She taught her little brother how to launch a paper boat and then how to put it into the river.

When the first small boat successfully entered the water and was slowly carried forward by the gentle current, Su Xiaodi was smiling and extremely excited.

Without his sister calling him, he had already taken out the second one, studied it for a while, successfully opened the paper boat, and slowly put it into the river.

Su Qingzhu was slightly surprised. It seemed that what Fu Minke said was true. Her brother was indeed smart and had learned to apply what he had learned to other situations.

The second boat followed the first, sailing smoothly on the river.

Then the third, the fourth...

The scene of twelve paper boats, each with its own characteristics, sailing slowly towards the distance in an irregular yet orderly manner against the sun, instantly becomes a beautiful landscape on the river.

Children not far away ran over screaming, and some adults also came over out of curiosity.

Most of the children were quietly watching the fleet sail away on the shore. Only a few naughty children were unhappy when they saw that it was the Su siblings who released the boat. They made bowls out of their hands and scooped up water to splash on the fleet.

How could Su Qingzhu let them ruin his good mood?

He waved his hand in the dark, and a gust of wind blew, accelerating the fleet forward, and all the water balls fell into the air.

The fleet was carried far away by the wind and soon turned into a shadow on the horizon, disappearing into the depths of the stream.

Only then did Su Xiaodi realize that the beautiful boat his sister gave him had run away!

He looked at his sister with tears in his eyes and pointed in the direction where the boat disappeared, "Sister, the boat is gone."

"Well, that fleet is going to explore far away." Su Qingzhu kissed his younger brother, picked him up and took the basket.

"Sister will build you a fleet when she gets home, and we can send them on an adventure next time, okay?" She nodded to the adults as she spoke, and set off on the journey home with her younger brother.

Little Brother Su buried his head in his sister's neck and replied muffledly, "Okay."

My sister said she would give it to me, even though I was reluctant.

Su Qingzhu naturally knew what her brother meant.

She patted her little brother's head and said, "Xiao Lang, a boat is built to travel far away. Just like a car, it is originally used to carry people. If you insist on keeping it at home, then it loses its meaning of existence."

These words were a bit complicated. Su Qingzhu knew that his younger brother might not be able to fully understand them, so he did not explain too much and let him figure it out on his own.

But when she got home, she made him a set of paper boats that were even more beautiful than the previous ones.

Su Xiaodi, who was preoccupied with his own affairs, did not show much joy this time.

He gave his sister a smile, then tilted his head, lay on the table, staring at them intently, not knowing what he was thinking.
