"What are you saying?" Madam Su raised her eyebrows. "If it weren't for my old man risking his life to save your son, who knows how tall the grass would be on his grave by now? Later, it was your Feng family that insisted on getting engaged to Hua'er. Now that she has just passed the imperial examination, you want to break off the engagement and even sell my daughter. Don't even think about it!"
"You're talking nonsense!" Feng Zicai retorted, "It's clearly Su Hua who was having an affair in the dilapidated temple."
"Steal your mother! If you dare to talk nonsense again, I'll skin you alive!" Madam Su glared fiercely at Feng Zicai, then called over several women to surround Su Hua, "Please, sisters-in-law, be my daughter's witnesses."
Concerning her daughter's innocence, Madam Su Bai dared not be careless at all. After speaking, she took Su Hua's hand and rolled up her sleeve.
On her fair, lotus-root-white arm, a patch of bright red, the size of a red bean, was exposed to the women.
"The mark of virginity?" someone exclaimed in surprise.
Everyone's gaze towards Su Hua changed; she truly lived up to her reputation as the apple of the Su family's eye.
Even though it's something only wealthy people would order, Su Bai actually got it for her.
"So what if she has a virginity mark?" Seeing that things had escalated to this point, Madam Feng no longer concealed anything and sneered, "Who knows if she did everything except the last step? After all, this wild man wasn't even wearing pants. Our Feng family can't accept such an impure daughter as a daughter-in-law."
"Bullshit! You're the one who's not innocent, your whole family is not innocent!" Su Bai was furious.
He pounced on Feng's mother, straddled her, rolled up his sleeves, and started grabbing at her body, targeting all her most intimate spots.
Su Hua found it amusing. After the woman had vented her anger, she gently pulled her away. "Aunt Feng seems to know a lot about these kinds of things. Could it be that besides the occasional relief from my Su family, the Feng family earns tuition fees for Feng Zicai through this?"
Upon hearing this, the people in the dilapidated temple fell silent for a moment, then burst into laughter.

“I’m not making this up! I’m clearly just imitating Aunt Feng’s speculations and guesses.” Su Hua’s smile deepened, her eyes narrowing into slits.
