Chapter 23 Chapter 23 I don’t want you to be responsible for me anymore…

When Song Youning changed her clothes and pushed open the bedroom door, Ji Siyun had just finished preparing breakfast.

Putting the plate in his hand on the table, Ji Siyun asked, "Miss, are you going out?"

Song Youning pulled out a suitcase from behind her back and said, "No, I want to go home."

Ji Siyun paused while untying his apron and reached out to take the suitcase from her: "Okay, then I'll help you pack it..."

"No need." Song Youning dodged his hand, "I've already put it away."

He pursed his lips and nodded, "Then I'll go pack my things and go with you..."

"You stay here."

Ji Siyun was stunned. After he understood what she said, the color drained from his face and even his lips turned pale.

Song Youning didn't want to avoid him and didn't let him go back with her. She took into consideration that Ji Siyun's business was on the rise recently, and this place was close to the city center, making it more convenient to go to the studio.

But Ji Siyun obviously misunderstood her good intentions.

The young man's dark eyes soon became misty, his thick and long eyelashes trembled like butterfly wings, and a look of hurt appeared on his gloomy and beautiful face. In a flash, big tears fell along his pale face like pearls falling from a broken string.

Song Youning, who hadn't said anything yet, suddenly panicked.

Why are you crying!

Ji Siyun didn't even have time to take off his apron. His tall figure was hunched over as he carefully pulled at the corner of her clothes.

He let the tears roll down his eyelashes, his eyes red, his beautifully shaped lips tightly pursed, and asked her in a tearful voice, "Don't you want me anymore?"

"Am I not obedient enough?"

"Is it because of what I said that you are embarrassed?"

Big tears fell down, making Song Youning feel uneasy.

Ji Siyun's voice was hoarse. He pinched the corner of her clothes, knuckles turning white with force, and said to her with a choked voice, almost begging, "I don't want you to be responsible for me anymore. You can do whatever you want."

The young man sobbed softly, his delicate face covered with water marks, broken yet beautiful.

"I don't ask for much, please, don't leave me..."

He had just finished making breakfast and came out of the kitchen without even taking off his apron. Now the way he begged her pitifully with red eyes and tears in his eyes made Song Youning feel like a scumbag who had toyed with an innocent boy and refused to take responsibility.

She wanted to get some paper to wipe his tears, but Ji Siyun held the corner of her clothes tightly and she couldn't move away.

Song Youning had no choice but to grab his hand that was pinching her clothes and pulled the cloth out of his hand with force. Ji Siyun lowered his head and his tears fell even harder.

She sighed, took Ji Siyun's hand, led him to the chair and forced him to sit down.

Her other hand was finally able to reach the tissue box, she pulled out a tissue, and gently wiped the tears from the young man's face. The tears quickly soaked the tissue, and she changed to the next one.

His tears seemed to never stop flowing. Song Youning was both angry and amused: "Ji Siyun, are you made of water? How can you cry so hard?"

The answer she received was two hot tears rolling down her cheeks.

Song Youning threw away the paper in his hand, pinched his chin and forced him to raise his head.

Ji Siyun pursed his lips, his black eyes were filled with tears, stubborn and cold. When he was forced to raise his head, he blinked, and crystal tears slid from the corners of his eyes into his temples.

"Don't cry." Song Youning wanted to sigh again, "Would you please listen to my reasons?"

"The Song family is too far from your studio. It's more convenient for you to live here." Song Youning patiently explained to him, "I didn't say I don't want you to go back. You can move back when you're done."

But he seemed not to hear her, and stared at her with wet eyes, as if accusing her of being heartless.

"You don't want me." Tears flowed freely, his voice trembling. "Since waking up yesterday morning, you told me not to care."

"I'm unworthy. I'm of low status, and my body is dirty and ugly." He closed his eyes in pain. "It's only right that the young lady despises me. I'm delusional. I don't recognize my own identity..."

The young man was so sad that he seemed to be about to break. His big tears fell on Song Youning's sudden conscience, making her frown and at a loss.

I shouldn't have let him drink that drink on a whim. Now I've shot myself in the foot.

That damn progress bar can't go up anymore!

Seeing Ji Siyun crying and talking non-stop, Song Youning made up his mind and leaned over. His lips, which were saying self-deprecating words, were blocked by another pair of cherry pink lips. Ji Siyun only felt a buzzing in his head, and his whole body froze in place as if he couldn't control it.

She held his neck, and the rich scent of jasmine tea fell on his lips along with a gentle kiss.

Ji Siyun even forgot to breathe. He stared stiffly with his eyes wide open. Song Youning's face was extremely close to him. She gave him a light kiss on the lips and then kissed his moist eyes.

Smacking his lips, it tasted a bit salty. Song Youning ruffled Ji Siyun's black hair and said helplessly, "Although you look pretty when you cry, don't cry, Ji Siyun."

"I didn't abandon you."

Song Youning sighed in his heart, don't mess with a virgin like Ji Siyun easily, it will be troublesome if he asks for responsibility.

Although he said that she didn't need to be responsible, he probably already thought about where to bury her.

No matter what, she would not give up hope of going home. It was just a matter of playing nice with Ji Siyun, and she was very good at it.

Her eyebrows curved and she smiled gently: "If you want to go back with me, then let's go back together, okay?"

Ji Siyun looked up at her, his rapid breathing filled with sticky desire. He watched her red lips opening and closing as she spoke, as if he could still feel those soft lips.

Missy…just kissed him.

She had kissed him, and he was hers.

Ji Siyun stretched out his hands and hugged Song Youning's waist tightly. His head rested on her waist with tears in his eyes. He was so sad that he almost broke just now, but at this moment, the corners of his lips curved up a little, finally revealing a triumphant smile.

In stark contrast to his smug expression, his voice was low and hoarse, almost humble.

"Miss, I am already yours. Please don't abandon me in the future, okay?"

Song Youning hesitated and touched his head: "Okay..."

The story of Lu Tingshuang drugging Song Youning was full of loopholes. In just two days, the detective hired by Song Youning compiled a series of evidence and sent it to her.

Chat records with drug dealers, bank card transfer records, including hotel surveillance.

Song Youning wanted to applaud Lu Tingshuang. She did all the bad things openly and honestly, leaving traces everywhere, for fear that others would not be able to find out it was her.

Clicking on one of the surveillance videos, Song Youning's expression gradually became solemn. He paused the video and zoomed in. Sure enough, he saw a familiar face flashing in the shadow of the stairs below when Lu Tingshuang was talking on the phone with her back to the stairs.

He picked up the computer, pushed open the bedroom door aggressively and walked across the corridor.

The basement where Ji Siyun originally lived was damp and cold. After he came back, Song Youning asked him to move into the room opposite her.

Without even knocking on the door, Song Youning pushed it open and walked in.

Ji Siyun came back from the studio after work. He had just taken a shower and came out of the bathroom with only a bath towel wrapped around his lower body and wiping his hair.

There were traces of dampness on the cold, white skin, broad shoulders and narrow waist, and thin muscles arranged neatly...

Song Youning just took a peek and before he had time to appreciate it carefully, Ji Siyun quickly turned around and hid in the bathroom.

"Tsk, so stingy." Song Youning curled his lips.

Ji Siyun came out of the bathroom soon, having changed into home clothes with long sleeves and long pants, covering himself tightly.

"Miss, is there something you want to talk to me about?" Her freshly washed black hair hung down straight, and she looked very well behaved.

Song Youning sat beside his bed holding the computer. She patted her side and motioned him to sit over.

Ji Siyun's dark eyes darkened, and he sat down next to her on the left, supporting his right hand on the bed behind her. From behind, it looked like he was holding her in his arms.

I just asked him to sit next to her, but I didn't ask him to sit so close to her that he was squeezing her!

Song Youning glared at Ji Siyun, and the young man gave him an innocent look.

Not wanting to argue with him, Song Youning turned the computer screen towards him and clicked play.

In the enlarged picture, Lu Tingshuang was making a phone call in the stairwell. A figure flashed by in the lower left corner. Until Lu Tingshuang hung up the phone and left in a hurry, the figure that had been hiding in the darkness stood out - it was Ji Siyun.

In the surveillance video, Ji Siyun stood there, as if thinking about something, when suddenly his face changed drastically and he ran in the direction Lu Tingshuang left.

After watching the video, Ji Siyun remained calm and looked at Song Youning with his dark eyes without any guilt.

"After I finished talking about work with Mr. Huang from Zhiwei, I realized that the eldest daughter was missing. When I found the stairwell, I saw Ms. Lu. I thought that since the eldest daughter was invited to the banquet by Ms. Lu, maybe she was with Ms. Lu."

He smiled at Song Youning thankfully: "Fortunately, I guessed right. I followed her and found the eldest lady."

He held Song Youning's hand in his left hand and kneaded it gently, with a lingering fear on his face: "Fortunately, I drank that drink. If I had come a little later and Miss drank it... I would have gone crazy."

Song Youning knew that every word he said was true, but some content was missing, which made it seem like everything was a coincidence, and he was also an unwitting victim.

The young man couldn't let go of Song Youning's hands. Her fingers were slender, delicate and beautiful without any touch of woman's water. His hands were much bigger than hers, and when he put his palms together, he could even wrap them around her completely.

"Ji Siyun." Song Youning looked at him steadily and said, "I can't hear any sound from the surveillance camera."

Ji Siyun held her hand and brought it to his nose to sniff. She always had the fragrance of jasmine tea on her body, even her fingertips were sweet.

Hearing her words, he hummed softly, his hot breath spraying between her fingers.

"Lu Tingshuang is an idiot." Song Youning continued, "The drug dealer she bought the medicine from left a recording of the call, hoping to keep it to blackmail her later."

The action of holding her hand and sniffing it paused, and Ji Siyun looked over sideways.

Song Youning looked at him with scrutiny and said firmly, "You know exactly what's in that glass of juice."

"Jisyun, you did it on purpose."
