Chapter 88 Chapter 88 Abandoned

Chapter 88 Chapter 88 Abandoned

"Ji Siyun! How dare you come back!"

Mother Song felt her arms go empty, and Song Youning rushed to Ji Siyun like a small cannonball.

"My parents were so good to you, and you actually betrayed them and me!"

She raised her fist and hit Ji Siyun. The tall young man had a cold expression on his face and easily controlled her with one hand, trapping her in his arms so that she couldn't move.

"Let me go!" Song Youning's fair face flushed with anger. She raised her head and cursed him, "You're so heartless! Bastard! Liar!"

These words sounded painless to Ji Siyun's ears, and her struggle was like a cat's, soft and non-threatening.

The power gap was enormous, but Song Youning remained unmoved, constantly trying to break free. Ji Siyun was reluctant to let go, but fearing he'd hurt her by squeezing her too hard, so he lowered his head and spoke softly, coaxing her like a child: "Miss, be good, don't make a fuss."

Song Youning glared at him angrily, "Let go!"

Ji Siyun turned a deaf ear to this, and lightly curled his lips towards Song's mother, calling her politely yet distantly, "Auntie."

Compared to the indignant Song Youning, Song's mother was much calmer.

She sat upright on the sofa, her back straight. She elegantly picked up the teacup and took a sip. She raised her eyes coldly and asked, "What are you doing here?"

The person in his arms was still making a fuss, her feet in soft slippers rubbing against his shoes. Ji Siyun's expression remained unchanged, and he smiled and said to Song's mother, "Auntie, this is also my home."

Mother Song snorted, "Your adoption relationship with the Song family was dissolved long ago. My temple is too small to support a large Buddha like you."

Her sarcastic answer had no effect on Ji Siyun. The handsome young man still maintained that faint smile that did not reach his eyes.

He hugged the struggling Song Youning, and looked over quietly with his gloomy and beautiful black eyes. "After all, the Song family raised me, and I have long considered myself a member of the Song family."

The warm steam wrapped in the aroma of tea lingered in her nose, but Mother Song had no intention of savoring it. Her lips pressed against the rim of the cup didn't even wet them. She sneered and said, "Mr. Ji is a little too self-righteous. I only have Ningning as my child."

"Yeah." The young man lowered his eyes and looked into his arms. He was tall, and from this angle he could only see the top of Song Youning's head and his cheeks which were slightly bulging due to anger.

When those inorganic black eyes looked at her, they finally showed some living emotions. Ji Siyun raised the corners of his lips and said, "Auntie, it doesn't have to be your and Uncle Song's child to join this family."

"Clang."

Mother Song put the teacup down heavily and confronted Ji Siyun with angry eyes, "Put away your wolfish ambitions, we will not agree to your request!"

Ji Siyun didn't care about Song's mother's reaction at all. The only person he cared about from beginning to end was Song Youning.

Song Youning tried very hard, but not only did he make himself hot and tired, he was unable to break free from Ji Siyun's arms which were like iron clamps.

She could only twist her neck with difficulty, turned her head to look at Mother Song, and asked in confusion: "Mom, what are you talking about?"

Mother Song clenched her hands on her knees into fists and gave Song Youning a soothing smile. "Don't worry about some things at the company."

When her gaze turned to Ji Siyun's face again, Song's mother's expression turned cold, "Ji Siyun, let her go."

Before she fell ill and took a rest, Song's mother was a decisive and capable woman. Even though she left the company to recuperate at home in recent years, her aura was still there when she sat on the sofa with a stern face.

Ji Siyun was just a newborn calf in front of her, but he was not afraid at all. Even when she was staring at him, he calmly bent his waist and held Song Youning's shoulders.

His dark, sinister eyes gently gazed at the unhappy Song Youning, and Ji Siyun said softly, "Miss, the Song family has been a bit noisy lately. I've prepared a new house, and the yard is full of your favorite jasmine. It's in bloom now. Would you like to move in with me?"

Song Youning wanted to push away the hand that was holding her shoulder, but she didn't have enough strength to succeed. As if she didn't want to see Ji Siyun's face, she turned her head to the side uncooperatively.

"I don't want to! This is my home, why should I go with you!"

The movement of her turning her head away with a hint of disgust stung Ji Siyun's eyes, and even his heart ached as if a hole was broken.

Ji Siyun endured the waves of pain rising from his chest, and stroked her cheek with his big hand, gently but firmly turning her face that was tilted to the side back to face him.

"I won't hurt you, Miss. Come with me, okay?"

Song Youning looked at him with a strange and distrustful look in her eyes. She shook her head defensively, "No, I don't want to go with you."

She gritted her teeth and used both hands to pry the hands pressing on her shoulders. Her eyes became fierce as she looked at Ji Siyun, and her anger gushed out without reservation.

"You kept saying you had no ideas about the company, but it turned out to be all lies. I was so stupid to let a wolf into the house. I will never trust you again!"

"No!"

Her anger didn't seem fake. Ji Siyun was panicked by the look of those angry eyes. He was always eloquent and good at negotiating with others, but at this moment he couldn't even utter a complete sentence.

"I'm not..."

"You are not what?" The bright almond-shaped eyes stared at his, as if they could see through his lies.

The goal he wanted to achieve was not yet completed, and he could not tell her everything. His lips moved for a long time, and Ji Siyun did not know how to explain to her. He could only say in vain and without any persuasiveness: "I will not harm the young lady——"

"Enough, I don't want to hear your lies anymore!" Song Youning's eyes widened in anger. At this moment, all the gentleness and cheerfulness in the past disappeared, turning into disgust and hatred.

"Didn't you do anything about the chip this time?"

"Weren't those so-called insider information in the media deliberately arranged by you?"

"Aren't you doing this to force my father to step down so you can take over?"

When Song Youning said the last sentence, his throat was shaking. He threw out a series of questions. His clear almond eyes gradually gathered a layer of mist, and his curled eyelashes were soaked, but he still raised his face stubbornly, staring at Ji Siyun as if he refused to show weakness.

Tears filled my eyes and gradually gathered at the corners of my eyes, but they didn't fall.

These tones of questioning, confusion, anger and sadness made Ji Siyun so heartbroken that he almost couldn't breathe.

His face was pale, and he raised his hand with distinct knuckles tremblingly, trying to wipe away the tears from the corners of her eyes, but Song Youning leaned back to avoid his hand.

She turned her face to the side, and as she moved, a teardrop fell from mid-air, shining with crystal luster, hitting the ground and quickly soaking into the carpet.

"No need for you to be hypocritical!"

That tear was like a blow to the head. Ji Siyun seemed to have no strength left in an instant, and the hands that were holding her loosened. Song Youning took this opportunity to quickly get rid of him and took a few steps back.

Song's mother also stood up and quickly walked over to protect Song Youning behind her.

The two of them stared at Ji Siyun warily. The tall and dignified young man stood where he was, lowering his head and staring blankly at his empty palms, his mind blank.

His mind was empty, his heart was empty, beating lonely and painfully, reminding him that he was still alive.

She...cried.

She cried because of his deception.

The stabbing pain in his chest spread along his spine to his limbs. Although it was June, Ji Siyun felt cold all over. His limbs seemed to be frozen by ice and he couldn't even move.

"Jisiyun! What on earth do you want to do?!"

Song's mother's angry shout suddenly pulled Ji Siyun back to his senses from the black quagmire. He slowly closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, only the determination to go all out remained.

He wanted her to stay with him, no matter what the method, he just wanted her to be with him!

The pain faded from his face, and his pale face made his eyes look even darker under the light. Ji Siyun slowly straightened up and slowly raised his eyelids.

His dark eyes flashed with paranoia, his whole face was full of gloom, and he raised the corners of his mouth in a sarcastic smile.

"Mrs. Song, didn't I tell you and Mr. Song what I wanted from the beginning?"

He completely tore off his disguise and no longer tried to please Song's mother. He glanced at her casually and finally fixed his eyes on Song Youning's face behind her.

"Don't even think about it!" Mother Song opened her arms to block Song Youning, "I absolutely will not agree to this."

Ji Siyun's dark eyes flashed with a cold light. He raised his hand and lowered his eyelids to look at the watch on his wrist. He curled his lips and said slowly, "Mrs. Song, don't speak too soon. You still have time to think about it."

Song Youning, who was blocked at the back, heard them mention something about whether to agree or not again, and frowned as he looked at Song's mother who was facing a great enemy.

She was not the fool that the original owner was. She had already guessed what conditions Ji Siyun proposed.

Song Youning just didn't expect that her cheap parents in this book would rather go bankrupt than push her out.

Compared to her biological parents, this is simply ironic.

She felt a little depressed and uncomfortable in her heart, but she couldn't show it. After she finished acting out the scenes that matched her silly young lady character, she held Song's mother's hand again and said softly, "Mom, you're not talking about the company, right?"

The hand holding hers was delicate and soft. She had been raised in pampered conditions and had never done any rough work. Mother Song met her bright eyes and said calmly, "It's just work. Don't think too much about it."

Song Youning blinked and said softly, "Mom, I'm not a child anymore."

Song's mother tightened her grip on her hand. The crow's feet at the corners of her eyes seemed to deepen due to the physical and mental exhaustion of the past few days. She still looked at Song Youning with eyes full of love, comforting her: "Mom and Dad will take care of the company's affairs. Don't worry, we can handle it."

Patting Song Youning's arm, Song's mother turned her head to look at Ji Siyun, her eyes suddenly became cold and stern, and said: "You are no longer a member of the Song family. We kept you here because of Ningning. Now the Song family does not welcome you. Please leave!"

Ji Siyun seemed not to have heard Song's mother's order to leave. He came to the sofa and sat down, pouring himself a cup of tea leisurely, as if waiting for something.

Seeing that Ji Siyun did not leave but sat down to drink tea, Song Youning frowned unhappily, put his hands on his hips and shouted at Ji Siyun: "Ji Siyun, do you hear me? Get out now, you are not welcome in my house!"

She always treated Ji Siyun in such a spoiled and arrogant manner, but Ji Siyun was no longer a poor little thing who needed to live under someone else's roof. Mother Song tugged at Song Youning's sleeve and whispered, "Ningning, don't make him angry."

She glanced at Ji Siyun, who had a calm expression but a cold aura around him, and wanted to advise Song Youning that he was no longer the man who would swallow his anger and let her beat and scold him. Before she could open her mouth, her cell phone suddenly rang.

The caller was Zhang Zhu.

For some reason, Song's mother became panicked at this moment, and almost dropped her cell phone. Before calming herself down and answering the call, she subconsciously avoided Song Youning and walked aside.

Song Youning, who was left in the living room, glared at Ji Siyun. The young man sat upright on the sofa, holding the teacup with his slender fingers. He took a sip, his Adam's apple moved slightly, and he swallowed it, then slowly put the cup down.

This set of movements is neither fast nor slow and extremely pleasing to the eye.

Without Mother Song stopping her, Song Youning walked straight to Ji Siyun. Her clear almond-shaped eyes swept away the confusion. She raised her chin slightly and asked him directly, "What are your conditions?"

After a long silence, a low and cold voice came out from the young man's thin lips, and his deep eyes were full of paranoia and madness.

"you."

Being stared at by such cold black eyes, Song Youning shuddered. He tried his best to appear calm, but his clasped palms unconsciously clenched. Song Youning bit his lip and said, "They won't agree to you!"

Ji Siyun's lips moved, as if he was smiling, and his body slowly rose and stood up. His tall shadow covered Song Youning. She shrank uneasily, like a prey about to be caught in a net, but she forced herself to appear calm.

Ji Siyun gently picked up the hair by her ear, and under Song Youning's angry gaze, he smiled meaningfully: "Miss, how do you know they won't agree to me?"

Song Youning slapped his hand away and said, "I just know. Do you think everyone is as cold-blooded and ruthless as you?"

The palm that was slapped away paused for a moment, and Ji Siyun twisted his fingertips. His crow-feather eyelashes hid the emotions flashing in his eyes, and all the deep emotions were forced into a cold sneer: "You are too naive, young lady."

Song Youning rolled his eyes imperceptibly.

This was the first time in all these years that she was called naive.

"Ningning."

Song Youning turned around when her mother's voice, so soft it seemed to float in the air, came from behind her. "Mom, who just—"

Song's mother's face turned horribly pale. She closed her eyes with difficulty and said to Song Youning, "Ningning, you should stay at Ji Siyun's place for the next few days."
