Author's note: We chatted until 6 a.m., what a waste! We were all talking about our favorite idols. My friend is an SVT fan, and we've watched several SVT variety shows together, lol. This friend even has to get up at 8 a.m. to go to work and pray for her. Another person is an NEXT fan and a sports fan, and has watched a ton of all kinds of videos.
I'm still reminiscing about MAMA's "Untitled" and "Drama." When I was there, I never imagined the online reactions would be like this. Every single song was perfect; I was shocked, screaming, excited, and gasping for breath. During "Untitled," I even cried. I showed my friends my idol's live performance, and during "Untitled," they were all amazed, saying, "So stable! You can even hear his breathing!" During "Drama," they specifically played that Chinese line, and my friends had that "OoO!!!" expression, saying, "I get it! Now I understand why you love him so much." Imagine him singing to you live, "You always ask me how deep my love for you is," it's more powerful than any words. I also showed them many performances of "Nightmare," "Who You," and others, as well as a bunch of videos of him smoking in nightclubs. Being a fan is so much fun! [droopy-eared rabbit head]
It just so happened that everyone around me was a fan of other groups. I wasn't sitting with any Kwon Ji-yong fans, and I didn't have anyone to talk to, so I chatted with some of them for a bit. They kept asking, "Whose fan are you?" and then they started acquainting themselves with each other. When I said I was a Kwon Ji-yong fan, everyone was surprised, and then they started saying, "Kwon Ji-yong is a true K-pop god! The ticket prices are so high today because of him!" When I heard him sing that line in Chinese, I could clearly hear all the other fans gasp. It goes without saying how awesome it is to be a fan of Kwon Ji-yong's career...
