For big-budget productions, many famous movie stars will be invited to act.
However, the fact that they were able to get a big name like Xu Zheng suggests that this movie still has some merit.
In short, this is the first project I've participated in since graduation, so I'll use it as practice.

Teacher Xu Zheng came over to watch, and the other actors followed suit.

An old man who runs a hotel next door entered the shop and informed the landlord that the rent was due.
Xu Zheng asked dejectedly, "Did you put that batch of oil I gave you last time at your little hotel?"
The hotel owner answered.
"It's been set up, but nobody uses it."
"Everyone uses Wei Ge now, nobody uses that thing anymore."
"I've used that thing, it's useless!"
Xu Zheng muttered disdainfully, "Useless? You're the one who's useless, aren't you?"
Pfft!
Zhou Yiwei, Li Naiwen, and Zhang Yu, who were watching, laughed.
The dialogue is so down-to-earth that it defies description.
They never expected that the refined and cultured Jiang Chen would write such explicit lines.
Seeing the lead actor laugh, Xu Zheng couldn't help but laugh as well.
He also felt the script was too simplistic and was afraid it wouldn't pass censorship.
Jiang Chen shouted angrily.
"Cut!"
"What are you laughing at?"
"What's so funny?"
"We've almost finished it on the first try!"

Zhou Yiwei: "They're just complaining about each other there!"

Jiang Chen said sternly.
"We're filming a scene, not doing your usual吐槽 (tu cao, a Chinese internet slang term for complaining/roasting). Can you please be serious?"
"What I need is speed."
"Wouldn't it be better if we finished filming sooner so everyone could go home and rest?"
After being harshly reprimanded, the surrounding actors all shut up and dared not utter another sound.
Although Jiang Chen was younger than them, was a new director, and still owed them money.
But he has quite a temper.
Acting is a job.
Since we are professional actors, we should do our job well.
Moreover, they are not well-known.
It's already pretty good that we have any acting opportunities.
Never ruin your future.
Jiang Chen looked at Xu Zheng and the hotel owner.
"Teacher Xu, your acting isn't close enough to real life. Please try to act even better."

Xu Zheng believed he had acted very well.
