Realizing that Bai Lu had not yet fully recovered, Jiang Chen decided to let her go for the time being.
"If you dare to tease me again, I won't let you get away with it!"
Bai Lu said without fear: "Don't worry, I'll tease you every day from now on and make you furious."
Jiang Chen: "Looks like you really deserve a beating!"

I feel uncomfortable eating.
Bai Lu: "I can't go!"
Jiang Chen: "I'll carry you there!"
Bai Lu: "Can you lift me up?"
Jiang Chen: "If I can't even lift someone as slender as you, am I even a man?"
Bai Lu: "Do you like my slim figure?"
Jiang Chen: "It would be a lie to say I don't like it."
Bai Lu: "I'm glad you like it. I thought you didn't."
Jiang Chen: "Fool, have more confidence in yourself."
Bai Lu: "Who told you to be so outstanding? I feel like I'm not good enough for you."
Jiang Chen: "If I weren't this outstanding, would you still like me?"
Bai Lu: "Even if you weren't so outstanding, I would still like you."
Jiang Chen: "You might be able to fool a three-year-old with those kinds of words, but you can't fool me."
Bai Lu: "I'm serious."
Jiang Chen: "Okay, I believe you."
Jiang Chen picked Bai Lu up and carried her into the bathroom.

After taking a shower, put on a white bathrobe.
Bai Lu pleaded with Jiang Chen at the bathroom door, "Darling, give me a hug!"
Jiang Chen: "You're not willing to take a single step."
Bai Lu: "Who did this? They know perfectly well!"
Jiang Chen: "Fine, I admit defeat."
Not long after we carried Bai Lu out, lunch was served.
Jiang Chen pushed the food cart in and then had lunch with Bai Lu.
"I didn't know what you liked to eat, so I ordered a chicken soup, a sweet and sour pork ribs dish, a braised beef dish, and a roast duck. Are you satisfied?"
Bai Lu was overjoyed: "Satisfied."
She liked anything that Jiang Chen had carefully prepared.
Jiang Chen: "Then let's eat quickly."
"Um!"
Bai Lu immediately picked up his chopsticks and started eating.
Jiang Chen: "How do you feel?"
Bai Lu: "Nothing tastes as good as what you make!"
Jiang Chen: I'll make it for you another time when I have time.
Bai Lu: "No, I want to eat now."
Jiang Chen: "How about I make it for you again tonight?"
"That's more like it."
Bai Lu was overjoyed.
She ate while feeding Jiang Chen.
She loved snuggling up to Jiang Chen and spending sweet, happy times with him.

After finishing lunch, I checked the time and realized I could still go to the office for a while.
Jiang Chen: "You rest here, I'm going to the company to take care of things for a while."
Bai Lu asked reluctantly, "So eager?"
Jiang Chen: "I don't want to drag this out too long; everyone is waiting for my guidance."
