Lin Su rested at home for a day and remembered that she hadn't told her childhood friend Cheng Zetao about being admitted to university. Tomorrow was Sunday, so she planned to go there tomorrow and tell his family while she was at it.

“After the child was lost, your stepsister became a different person and often argued with your stepmother,” the aunt continued. “Also, your brother is now living outside with his partner and often comes back asking for money, and they argue all the time. If you go back, be careful, it’s best to just stay for a while and then leave.”

After saying goodbye to her aunt, Lin Su said to Zhou Yunqi, "Let's go."

She went downstairs and looked up to see that the door to her home was open. She wasn't sure if her stepmother was home, but there was someone inside.

This stepsister has always had this temper; when she's unhappy, she throws all her clothes on the floor. The stepmother stood to the side, seemingly tired of scolding her and no longer wanting to nag her.
This scene left Lin Su speechless with astonishment.
Soon, the stepmother looked towards the door and spotted Lin Su. She asked, somewhat impatiently, "Why are you back?"

Cheng Zetao smiled and said, "I could tell last time, Susu, you never tell me the truth."
Zhou Yunqi once again adopted the demeanor of an empress and replied, "She's shy, so I'll let her be."
Lin Su couldn't help but glare at him after hearing this.
He looked back at him, raised his eyebrows slightly, and said to Cheng Zetao, "Let's talk again next time. We have other things to do, so we'll be going now."
Cheng Zetao sighed: "Alright, take care."
As she turned to leave, Zhou Yunqi grabbed her hand.
After walking a few more steps, he scoffed, "The two schools aren't far apart, so we'll probably visit each other often in the future?"

"That was last time, not this time." Lin Su found it amusing. "I've already told you you're my boyfriend, why are you jealous of your childhood friend?"

She grabbed his hand and said, "Okay, okay, I'll be more vigilant and guard against your sweet talk, alright?"
