"If you dare hit me, I'll tell my grandma, and she'll beat you up!" the chubby boy continued to threaten Zhao Lexin.
"So you're the only one with a grandma? I have a grandma too! If you dare bully me, I'll tell my grandma!"
Zhao Lexin wasn't afraid at all.
Although she knew her grandmother had a bad reputation on Guangming Road, so what?
She believed that if she were bullied, her grandmother would protect her.

Zhao Lexin remained silent, only pulling her younger sister along as they ran home.
"Grandma—Grandma—"
Zhao Lexin knew who her savior was, and before she even got home, she was already yelling for her grandma.
"What? You keep yelling all the time, do you think I'm free?"
Although Chen Suwen didn't have a job and left many of the housework to her daughter-in-law, it didn't mean she had nothing to do.
With the Lunar New Year approaching, it's time to do a thorough house cleaning, or take care of the vegetable garden and fruit trees in the backyard, which keeps us quite busy.

"I was so angry that I started fighting with Qian Duobao. When Grandma Liu found out, she wanted to beat me up."
"She just kicked me. Luckily I dodged quickly, or I would have been kicked to death."
Chen Suwen frowned upon hearing this.
She had heard the noise outside, but she hadn't expected it to be Liu Cuilian going crazy.
