"My mother-in-law reminded me that maybe I've offended someone who can't stand to see me doing well, or that I'm blocking their way?"
"I can't figure out who I offended either. Aren't you the one I get along with the most?" Song Che said to Lu Fang in a joking tone.
They grew up together and were rivals from a young age; both were equally outstanding.
When we were in school, being number one was a rotating title. If one person got first place this time, the next time it would definitely be someone else. No one would give way to the other.
