"If you want to move out, then move out. Who do you think wants to live here?" Pang Zijuan said without thinking.
“You’re all birds of a feather, in cahoots with that old hag Chen Suwen.”
"If I continue to live here, I won't even know who did it if you beat me to death one day."
"Pah! Who wants to live with you guys?"
Everyone's expression changed when Pang Zijuan said those words.
Not all the residents on Guangming Road have a good relationship with Chen Suwen.
The reason I didn't side with her this time was simply because I felt she went too far.
Unexpectedly, she said such a thing, which offended everyone by sweeping generalizations and instantly offended all the neighbors.
Once Pang Zijuan said those words, she had no choice but to move; none of her neighbors on Guangming Road would welcome her continuing to live there.
“If you’re going to move out, then move out now. Who wants to be your neighbor?” Chen Suwen spoke first. “I’ll eat two more bowls of rice if I don’t see you anymore.”
"If I never see your annoying face again, I might live to be a hundred years old. Just looking at you a few more times will shorten my lifespan by several years."
Chen Suwen's words drew sidelong glances from many people.
This attack power is too strong; Pang Zijuan was successfully angered.
“Exactly, as if anyone would want to be your neighbor.” Ye Yulian firmly stood on her best friend’s side. “You should move out as soon as possible. I’ve long since stopped your son from playing with my grandson.”
“Every time your son plays with my grandson, you scold my grandson. If you’re so capable, why don’t you lock your son at home and not let him go out to play?”
Every time Pang Zijuan saw her son playing with other children and suffering a slight loss, she would scold the children playing with her son.
The parents of those children have also accumulated a lot of dissatisfaction, and now Pang Zijuan has even said that she doesn't want to be their neighbor.
Hey, as if anyone would want to be her neighbor.
"Exactly, you should move out right now. Who wants to be your neighbor? Who's crazy enough to want to be yelled at by you every day?"
"Move out quickly, as no one wants to live in the same place as you."
The neighbors expressed their dissatisfaction with Pang Zijuan, Wu Cheng and Wu Xuan, and even the seemingly innocent Wu Yuejiang was not spared.
Even Wu Yan, who seemed like a timid girl, was scolded by others.
Similarly, when Wu Yan played with girls her own age, Pang Zijuan would jump out and scold them. This time, she scolded everyone, including Wu Yan.
When Wu Cheng and Wu Xuan were playing, she would only scold their playmates; but when it came to Wu Yan, her daughter whom she disliked, she scolded both Wu Yan and her playmates.
Not all of Wu Yan's peers disliked playing with her; some even sympathized with her for having a mother who liked to scold and hit people.
However, the parents felt that their daughters were innocent victims. If Wu Yan hadn't invited their daughters to play, their daughters wouldn't have been scolded by Pang Zijuan.
Therefore, Wu Yan was not spared in this campaign either.
Liu Manli and Yao Huijuan from the subdistrict office exchanged a glance, then looked at their other tall colleague, Gao Feng.
"Whether you move or not still depends on the factory's decision. You should all go back first," Gao Feng said, stopping the others from continuing their rant.
He looked at Wu Yuejiang and said, "Take your wife and children home."
With a sullen face, Wu Yuejiang helped his wife up and called his two sons and daughter to hurry home.
Their family of five was no match for anyone on Guangming Road, so they decided to avoid confrontation for now and try to get justice later.
After the Wu family left, Yao Huijuan looked at Chen Suwen and asked, "Chen Suwen, Cunzhi's mother, what trouble have you gotten yourself into again?"
Chen Suwen immediately protested her innocence, "What do you mean 'I caused trouble again'? Did I cause trouble? It was clearly trouble that caused me trouble!"
"If Pang Zijuan hadn't hit my precious grandson, would I have fought with her?"
"She's the one who's wrong, okay? I didn't cause any trouble." Chen Suwen was determined not to let the blame fall on her.
Yao Huijuan frowned, "But you can't beat her so badly. Her face is swollen, and she can't see anyone for several days."
"What's wrong?"
After asking a question in return, Chen Suwen took her eldest grandson from her son's arms and brought him close to Yao Huijuan's face, saying, "Look at my precious grandson."
"Sister, look! Look how badly my grandson was beaten! His mouth was bleeding just now. He's only five years old, he's not even at the age where he's losing his baby teeth yet."
"What if those guys from the Wu family knock out my teeth?"
"And look at my grandson's face, how swollen it is! Pang Zijuan can slap my grandson's face until it's swollen, so why can't I hit her?"
“Look at the injuries on his body.”
Chen Suwen rolled up her eldest grandson's sleeves and hem, revealing his skin. "Look at me, sister, how pitiful my eldest grandson is!"
"Was it me who caused the trouble? It was the Wu family mother and son who caused the trouble, okay?"
“My grandchildren were playing happily; they came and provoked them.”
"This is outrageous! Pang Zijuan, an adult, actually helped her son beat someone up. It's too much!"
“I also want to report this to Wu Yuejiang’s factory so that their leaders can teach him a lesson.”
Yao Huijuan's lips twitched when she heard this. "Forget it, it's just a fight. There's no need to go to the factory leaders."
"Why not?" Chen Suwen shoved her eldest grandson back into her father's arms and pulled her eldest granddaughter over. "Sister, look, my eldest granddaughter is also suffering a lot."
"She's a girl, a pretty girl. Look at her face, it's been slapped. What if she's disfigured?"
