Some people murmured that Chen Suwen was too stingy and miserly.

The others were disappointed to see Wang Yanhong leave, and some turned to Chen Suwen and asked, "Cunzhi's mom, you said you could lend us the oil press for free, so can I move it to my house and use my own electricity to press the oil?"
"Yes, Cunzhi's mom, is that okay?"
"Aunt Chen, we use our own electric oil press, can we borrow your oil press?"
Chen Suwen snorted again, "Have you forgotten that I just said I would only lend the oil press machine for free if I used Wang Yanhong's electricity?"
"If you want to borrow my oil press, you'll have to exchange it for something."

Listening to the discussions among the crowd and hearing the sounds coming from the other side, Chen Suwen couldn't resist the urge to go and see what was going on.

The Wu Yuejiang family's home wasn't far from the Zhou family's home; there was only one house between them, and they arrived quickly.

Pang Zijuan used a thin bamboo pole to whip the little girl who was being forced to kneel on the ground. Her expression was ferocious, and the words she spoke were particularly harsh.

Chen Suwen ignored Pang Zijuan's ferocious expression; she couldn't help but frown as she looked at the little girl kneeling on the ground.
The little girl was thin and small, dressed in very thin clothes. Although it wasn't very cold in Guangzhou at this time of year, her clothes were still too light.
The little girl's hair was a mess; she probably didn't want to style it, so she got it cut. The hairdresser was terrible; the hairstyle looked like a dog had chewed it.
"Your mother, that shameless woman, is married but still seduces other women's men. You slut, you're the same..."
"So many people are protecting you, yet you're just a little slut who's already seducing people at such a young age!"
"You're not allowed to talk about my mom like that! My mom is a hero!" Little Zhao Lexin raised her head sharply to retort when she heard Pang Zijuan saying bad things about her mother.
