Final thoughts
This is the last time for Heitu. I broke my promise a bit. I said I would finish the book yesterday, but I was an hour late.
There is indeed a reason for this. This afternoon my wife's younger brother had a car accident and was hit by an overturned tractor. His condition is quite serious. Heitu went to take him to the hospital. He was busy with various things until midnight. When he came back, it was past ten o'clock and he started typing, so it was late.
Let’s talk about this book. It took me more than a year to write “The Era of National Evolution”, with more than four million words, and it is finally completed.
I went through a lot during this period, including being attacked and scolded, but of course I also received a lot of support. It can be said that I went through it with both joy and sorrow.
But there are some things that I really have to talk about. During the time I was writing, my mother fell ill and many book friends gave me help. Later, my wife had problems again and became a little anxious and depressed, which also brought me a lot of pressure.
In the past six months, the number of times I went to the hospital has almost caught up with the number of times I went home.
I support my family on my own, and sometimes I feel like I can't take it anymore. I am really grateful to my many book friends.
Heitu doesn't like to say some sensational words, because as a grown man, he feels that he is a bit pretentious when saying those things.
I am grateful to you, and I will keep it in my heart and repay you with better words. Don't talk nonsense and then do nothing.
Towards the end of writing, I felt a little tired and wrote a little slowly. I'm sorry to everyone.
The book is long and has many loopholes. Heitu feels that he is still not well-trained enough, his writing skills are not sophisticated enough, and his writing is not very ideal.
But no matter how it ended, it finally had a happy ending, neither a eunuch nor a bad ending.
There may be some small holes that are not filled, but they are not that important.
After this book is finished, Heitu may release some extra stories from time to time, such as his daughter’s wedding and other small tidbits like these. Please continue to pay attention.
I have been thinking about the new book for a long time and it is almost finished, but the time for uploading it has not been decided yet. I have been so busy recently that I am really overwhelmed.
