Chapter 182. Is he really Brother Han's son?

After the little guy finished washing his hands and face, his pink face was still dripping with water. As soon as Uncle Hai saw this, he quickly grabbed a towel and went over to help him dry it.

The little guy cooperated by sticking his face out and burying it in the large towel in Uncle Hai's hand like an ostrich. He twisted his head from side to side, rubbing his face vigorously in the towel a few times. Then, he looked up at Uncle Hai and smiled, "Grandpa Hai, cheers!"

Uncle Hai looked at his bright, sun-like smile and felt a deep sense of emotion.

Sure enough, a child is essential to a family's vitality. And the dull atmosphere that had permeated the house for several years was finally broken by the return of the young master.

Seeing that Uncle Hai was staring at him intently, the little guy mischievously winked at him, stuck out his tongue, and made a face.

Uncle Hai was amused. Seeing that the man's hair was all messed up, he reached out to straighten it. His fingers accidentally touched the man's cold face, which startled him.

"Young Master, don't you know that blue faucet in the sink is for hot water?"

Uncle Hai always thought that such a smart young master shouldn't need special instructions on such a small matter.

"I know, but I always use cold water, it's healthier!"

The little guy showed great self-reliance at such a young age and had no intention of changing his ways because of Uncle Hai's reminder.

"Uncle Hai! Is he really Brother Han's son?"

The sudden female voice startled the old man and the young man who were still interacting amicably.

The little guy turned to the side and peeked behind Uncle Hai.

Not far away stood a woman with long, curly hair and a fashionable appearance.

The eyes of the two people, one big and one small, suddenly met. The little one clearly saw an extremely unfriendly glint in the woman's eyes.

Upon seeing the woman, the little boy frowned slightly and grabbed Uncle Hai's arm, "Grandpa Hai, who is she?"

Because the woman's gaze had made him extremely uncomfortable, he instinctively felt hostile towards her.

He quickly searched and verified the information of the people his mother had specifically mentioned to him, and soon he roughly guessed the woman's identity.

However, just because he guessed it didn't mean he had to do anything immediately. He needed to confirm her identity first, and then test whether this woman was important in this family.

Uncle Hai put his arm around him and turned to the woman.

"Miss Yi, this is my young master."

Upon hearing Grandpa Hai's address to the woman, the little guy immediately understood.

In the night or two before he left, his mother repeatedly gave him instructions.

"Zizai, your daddy's new wife is named Yi Wei. If she bullies you when you get back, and you really don't like her, call your uncle, okay?"

"Oh, so that's Zizai's stepmother?" The little guy was extremely upset. He really wanted to stay with his mother and didn't want to go back to that bastard surnamed Yan!

Since returning home, the little guy hasn't seen his so-called stepmother. Last night, he even deliberately hogged the old bastard's big bed, wanting to see where the old bastard and his new wife would sleep with him there.

Unfortunately, he fell asleep while lying down, and when he woke up, he didn't find any stepmother, but only the old bastard's extremely annoying face.

While eating breakfast, he was still wondering why he hadn't seen that woman named Yi Wei even though it had been almost a day.

Could it be that she was too hateful and ugly, and that the old bastard got tired of her and dumped her?

Now that the little guy heard Grandpa Hai call this woman Miss Yi, his heart felt much more at ease.

It seems she's not his stepmother!

The little guy was still sizing up Miss Yi, but she was looking at him with a murderous gaze that seemed to want to tear him apart.

"Uncle Hai, is he really Brother Han's son? Are you sure?"

Yi Wei's gaze remained fixed on the little guy's face. If looks could set fires, the young master's handsome face would probably have been burned and disfigured by her gaze long ago.

The little guy originally planned to play the coward and wait for Grandpa Hai to deal with this person. Anyway, since she wasn't his stepmother, he was too lazy to waste his time on her.

However, this woman didn't seem to know her place in the Yan family; at least, she didn't know as well as the little guy.

The little guy glanced sideways at Yi Wei and said, "Who are you? Whether I'm the young master of the Yan family or not is none of your business!"

Yi Wei never expected that a little brat would be so bold as to embarrass her in front of the Yan family's butler.

If Uncle Hai hadn't been there, she probably would have lost her temper on the spot. But now, out of consideration for Uncle Hai and her own image, she had to pretend to communicate with the little guy calmly.

"Little friend, doesn't anyone teach you to be polite to adults?"

The little guy raised his chin and snorted, "Yes, Mommy said that you should speak human language to people and dog language to dogs."

It's obvious they're calling Yi Wei a dog.

Yi Wei's pretty face flushed red and then turned pale. She glanced at Uncle Hai, but he remained completely unmoved, as if the brat wasn't swearing at her, but just saying something as trivial as "the weather is nice today."

Uncle Hai's obvious protective attitude convinced her that this kid really was Yan Han's son!

In fact, the moment she saw the boy's face, she was pretty sure that he was Yan Han's son.

But who is his mother? Why has she never heard of Yan Han having such a big son?

Before figuring out the whole story, Yi Wei decided it was best to be cautious!

She took a deep breath, trying her best to calm her anger and make herself look friendly. Then, she smiled and reached out her hand to the little guy.

"Little friend, I'm your daddy's good friend. You can call me Sister Wei."

Yi Wei's expression changed extremely quickly, as if she had switched faces.

If it were an ordinary child, they would probably be fooled by her.

Unfortunately, Zizai is not an ordinary child.

He had absolutely no liking for Yi Wei; in fact, he disliked Yi Wei even more than he disliked that old bastard.

Actually, from a very young age, his mother had mentioned his father to him and explained that she and his father divorced because of personality clashes, but the little guy subconsciously always felt that it was that old bastard's fault.

Mommy is so good, but that old bastard wants to divorce her. If it's not the old bastard's fault, whose fault is it?

Naturally, explaining divorce and personality clashes to a child under five years old is abstract and difficult to understand.

The little guy can only understand this matter according to his own comprehension level.

Originally, he had never paid much attention to Yan Han, nor did he have any obvious likes or dislikes towards him.

Anyway, he's divorced from his mother, and he hasn't come to see his son in all these years, so why should he think about him or care about him?
