Chapter 203 An Unexpected Surprise for Zizai (Fifth Update)

Madam Yan was quite satisfied with the speed and completeness of his packing. She thought to herself that she only brought this many things when she went out, but she did not expect that the little guy's organizational skills and independence were so strong.

Think about that father. When he was four or five years old, he was a pampered young master who had everything done for him. There was simply no comparison between him and his precious son.

"Grandma, do you have a first-aid kit? Could I have one?"

Even something that Old Madam Yan hadn't thought of, the little guy had thought of!

"Zizai, you're so clever! You even thought of that. Did Mommy teach you that?"

The little guy nodded and, following Madam Yan's directions, found the small medicine box he wanted in the large drawer of the storage cabinet. He opened it and carefully checked the medicines inside.

"Zizai and Mommy are going camping, so we need to bring these!" This was the little guy's explanation for Grandma Yan's praise.

Meanwhile, Madam Yan was staring intently at the little guy kneeling on the carpet counting medicines, and vaguely saw the shadow of Zhu Qianying in him.

She was very fortunate that the little guy's mother was Zhu Qianying, which was why the little guy had so many of the same excellent qualities as his mother.

These are qualities that my own brat doesn't possess.

For example, in terms of being understanding and considerate, that brat is not even one-thousandth as good as his grandson.

"Grandma, are we going by car tomorrow morning?"

Madam Yan didn't immediately understand the little guy's intention in asking that question. "Hmm, what's wrong? Does Zizai want to take a plane? But there shouldn't be any flights this early."

"Grandma, your back and shoulders hurt too, Grandpa, just let the driver take me there!"

The little guy spoke very seriously; there wasn't a hint of joking in his voice.

Madam Yan's eyes welled up with tears; she was deeply touched by the little guy's thoughtfulness and care.

No wonder the little guy has been taking the time these past few days to massage her and Yanbo's shoulders and backs; it turns out he thinks they're getting old and their backs and legs aren't as strong.

While Mrs. Yan was touched, she couldn't truly trust the driver to take her precious child to R City.

"But Grandma is worried about Zizai going alone. How about this, Grandpa should book plane tickets now, and we can fly to Auntie's house tonight to stay overnight, okay?"

And so, Yanbo and his wife took Zizai to the Ji family overnight. The next morning, the Ji family's driver delivered the three children to the gate of the Children's Palace.

The winter camp had assigned teachers to greet the children at the entrance. Once almost everyone had arrived, the teachers began calling out each child's name, "Beibei, Guoguo, Zizai!..."

The three little ones raised their hands and shouted loudly in response to the teacher's call of names, "Here!"

After roll call, the three little ones waved goodbye to the large group of parents from Ji Jiayan's family. Then, the teacher led the group of children into the auditorium of the Children's Palace to gather.

This winter camp, organized by the Children's Palace, focused on outdoor activities. Nearly two hundred children were divided into ten groups, each with an outdoor instructor and a life assistant.

Zizai and Beibei Guoguo were both assigned to the first group. When the teacher introduced the outdoor instructors and life assistants to everyone, Zizai, who was originally chatting away with Beibei Guoguo with his head down, suddenly heard a familiar voice.

"Hello everyone, I'm your outdoor coach, Teacher Yingzi. You can call me Yingzi!"

Zizai suddenly raised his head and stared wide-eyed at the shadow coach standing in front of him, who had a ponytail and was dressed in sportswear.

Oh dear! Who else could this shadow coach be but his son's mother?

After figuring out the facts, Zizai grinned happily, but subconsciously covered his mouth with his hand. Then, his dark and bright eyes stared unblinkingly at the beautiful coach.

Beibei and Guoguo hadn't seen Zhu Qianying for a long time, but they had seen Zhu Qianying's wedding photos. When they heard the voice and looked up at Coach Yingzi, they were also startled.

Then, the two little ones turned to look at Zizai at the same time. They saw that Zizai was covering his mouth and staring at the shadow coach with his eyes smiling like crescent moons.

In their hearts, they became even more certain of their guess. Then, Beibei and Guoguo followed Zizai's example, covering their mouths and looking at Coach Shadow.

The shadow coach fluently recited the rules and regulations for the upcoming trip, his gaze seemingly focused on the twenty children in front of him, but out of the corner of his eye, he kept an eye on his own little darling whom he hadn't seen for a while.

The little one has been born for quite some time now. Mother and son are occasionally separated, but two or three days is the limit. The longest separation was when she was injured by some thugs a while ago, and she had no choice but to stay away from home for a week. This time, if you think about it carefully, it has been almost half a month.

During their separation, she missed the little guy so much that her heart ached terribly!

Now that she saw him, she wanted nothing more than to pull the little one into her arms and kiss and pamper him, but reality wouldn't allow her to do so.

Originally, she was a little worried that the little guy would suddenly call her "Mommy" when he saw her, thus revealing her identity!

Fortunately, the little one usually goes out with her to participate in many similar outdoor activities, which has cultivated her strong discipline and composure. Now, she just covers her mouth tightly with her hands, and all her happiness and surprise are reflected in her bright eyes that are smiling like crescent moons.

After finally finishing explaining the rules, the shadow coach stepped forward, walked to the left side of the group, and began to hug each child in the group.

Zizai stood in the first position on the left, so the shadow coach naturally walked up to him, squatted down, and the mother and son looked into each other's eyes, both with a few glistening tears in their eyes.

Zhu Qianying reached out and hugged her beloved son, whom she hadn't seen for more than ten days, tightly.

"Zizai!"

A simple call, yet it contained Zhu Qianying's longing and concern for the little one these past few days.

"Mommy Coach!" The little guy, who had finally let go of his little hand covering his mouth, called out softly in Zhu Qianying's ear with a smile.

Zhu Qianying took a deep sniff, tilted her head slightly, and subtly kissed the little guy on the cheek.

"Good boy, little boy!" The little guy quickly gave her a loud kiss on the cheek.

Zhu Qianying hugged him tightly again before letting go and walking over to Beibei. Beibei probably heard Zizai's call and, while hugging him, imitated Zizai's way of calling out "Auntie Coach." When it was Guoguo's turn, she also whispered "Auntie Coach" just like Beibei.

When Zhu Qianying stood up in front of the three children, she winked at them and gave them a meaningful look, then strode towards the other children.
