Yan Shao never imagined that one day he would walk into a pet store.
As Zhu Qianying said, he did indeed hate the smell of pets and loathe the flying fur.
He used to think that people who kept pets must be crazy, that they were just asking for trouble. They had a perfectly clean personal space, yet they had to get a little creature to bother and annoy them.
But now, he's acting impulsively, completely forgetting how much he used to hate pets and how much he despised those fools who kept pets.
Young Master Yan, who had never paid attention to pets before, walked into the pet store looking quite lost. But Zizai was completely different. As soon as he entered the pet store, he pounced on the cage containing the dogs.
As soon as Yan Shao entered the room, he naturally frowned and then reflexively raised his hand to cover his nose.
Zhu Qianying looked at him with amusement. "You should have bought a mask to wear earlier."
Yan Shao immediately lowered his hand, wrinkled his nose, and tried his best to get used to the smell that used to make him nauseous.
"Sir, what kind of pet are you looking to buy?"
Although the little guy was already squatting in front of the dog cage with great interest, the shop assistant still very tactfully came over to greet the adults.
Yan Shao pointed to the little guy's small back and said, "Look at him, he can buy whatever he wants."
The shop assistant immediately understood and led them behind the young master, squatting down in imitation of the little guy.
"Little brother, which baby do you like?"
The little guy has loved animals since he was little; cats and dogs are all adorable creatures in his eyes.
Even though it's just a small yellow dog that you can buy for a few dozen yuan, the little guy loves it just the most.
But precisely because of this, the little guy inevitably had trouble making a choice when faced with so many dogs of all sizes.
His eyes darted between the pets in the cages several times before finally pointing to a white dog and saying, "I want this one!"
The shop assistant smiled and said, "Okay, let me help you bring it out!"
"Wait!" Young Master Yan, who had been saying he would buy whichever one the little guy liked, suddenly spoke up to stop him.
Zizai suddenly turned her head and glared at him, thinking that Yan Shao had gone back on his word and suddenly didn't want to buy it.
"Miss, what breed is this dog? What are its habits? Will it hurt people?" Young Master Yan asked, covering his son's head with his large hand and gently rubbing it.
The little guy breathed a sigh of relief and then stared curiously at the shop assistant, waiting for her to answer.
"Sir, I understand your concerns. After all, children are very close to pets, and if a pet is aggressive, it can be very harmful to them. However, rest assured, this dog is a purebred Eskimo Dog, a friendly, alert, and intelligent breed. Although it is a bit reserved, it is an excellent watchdog. It will usually alert the family to the presence of strangers with a warning bark. It will not bite or attack people. Moreover, it has a very strong ability to learn new skills and is eager to please its owner."
Zizai listened intently to the shop assistant's explanation with wide eyes, his eyes growing brighter as he listened.
"Sister, can it kick a ball?" the little guy asked, tugging at the shop assistant's clothes and blinking his eyes.
"Yes, it will! As long as you are patient enough to teach it, it is very willing to learn!" the shop assistant replied to the little guy with a smile.
The little guy blinked a few times, looked up at Young Master Yan, and said, "Daddy, I want this one!"
Young Master Yan was thoroughly pleased with his son's gentle persuasion today, and immediately nodded in agreement, "Okay, this one will do!"
"If your little brother wants to be taught some more complex skills, we have dedicated coaches to provide specialized services!"
Little Zizai was even more delighted, "Daddy, can we ask a coach to teach him?"
Young Master Yan was delighted to receive so many sweets from the young master, so how could he refuse?
So, they not only bought a dog at the pet store, but also bought everything else that was specifically for the dog, including its house, supplies, and food.
The shop assistants were packing up a huge pile of things, and little Zizai stood in front of the dog cage, tugging at the adults.
What should the dog be called?
Mr. and Mrs. Yan obeyed their grandson's wishes without any objection, and Young Master Yan also seemed to have no objection, so they didn't even have the thought of thinking about it in detail.
Only Zhu Qianying, staring at the little guy tilting his head in contemplation, suddenly burst out laughing.
"Zizai, how about we name him Yan Yiyi?"
"One hundred million?" The little guy was a bit confused. He had no idea where Yan Yiyi came from.
Young Master Yan, however, reacted immediately, glaring at Zhu Qianying with a smile, "Ying'er, stop fooling around! One hundred million is Zizai's name!"
The little guy has very sharp ears. He frowned, put on a pained expression, tugged at Zhu Qianying's wrist, and pouted.
"Mommy, you said you'd think carefully and give Zizai the best-sounding name in the world, and you came up with this 'Yan Yiyi'? I don't want it! It sounds awful!"
Zhu Qianying finally stopped laughing, then pinched her son's cute little face, "I was just teasing you!"
Over here, Zhu Qianying was coaxing her son, but Young Master Yan said in a serious tone, "Who said it sounds bad? I think it's fine! Daddy is even planning to name your younger siblings Yan Two Hundred Million and Yan Three Hundred Million..."
The little guy glared at him fiercely, then buried his head in Zhu Qianying's belly and rubbed against her.
"Mommy, Zizai doesn't want to! What kind of name is Yan Yiyi? I'd rather be called Yan Zizai, or Young Master Yan!"
Zhu Qianying suppressed a laugh and patted his head, "Alright, alright, Mommy promises, Zizai won't be called Yan Yiyi, okay?"
Even though Zhu Qianying made such a guarantee, the name Yan Yiyi followed Zizai for many years afterward, and even after he got married, his father would still occasionally call him Yan Yiyi!
Of course, that's a story for later. Right now, having received his mother's assurance, the little boy proudly raised his face, pried open his mouth with his hand, and stuck out his tongue to make a big face at Yan Han.
“My name is Zhu-Zhu, not Yan Yiyi.”
Zhu-Zhu is Zai Zai's name in the United States.
"Ying'er, that's Zizai's name. The old master intends to take him back to the capital to find a master to check Zizai's fate and then choose a name for him. What do you think, is that alright?"
Regarding the name of their son, Zizai, Yanbo and his wife had actually discussed it with Yan Han for quite some time, but they hadn't come up with a suitable one. It wasn't until the old man asked about his great-grandson's name that they made that suggestion.
However, Madam Yan felt that the final decision-making power rested with Zhu Qianying, after all, she was Zizai's mother. Therefore, she had never dared to mention the old man's words.
Sure enough, upon hearing what Madam Yan said, Zhu Qianying immediately fell silent.
Does this mean she has to accompany Zizai to Beijing?
